"Magic" in the Bible.

I'm not sure why some here have a focus on Magic in the Bible? There are many things in the Bible that could be seen as 'Magic" but are likely not because God can do what he wishes. Jesus, being either his son, or sent by God could do so many other things.

As a side note, Sunnis in Saudi Arabia kill quite a lot of folk, both male and female that they accuse of sorcery. I do not know if the Shia and other branches of Islam do. For me, Sufism, makes a close approach to it, but I don't know more.

I've been helped countless times by God, an Angel, Jesus or ??? It is mostly to help me remember things, or prevent my own forgetfulness from causing a disaster, like overflowing the sink down through 6 levels of Apartment building, again.

I don't see any of this as magic, but instead the purposeful actions of a God that cares for me, and others. I've long felt that God and those in the Heavenlies simply Dimensionally Shift to carry out the tasks assigned to them by God. Mormons and Catholics seem to feel that it takes special dispensations performed by leaders. Ah, well, as long as they leave me alone, there will be peace perhaps.

It is disingenuous to label unexplained occurrences as magic. Just be thankful.

During the reign of the children of Israel
God gave King Solomon the power to rule demons and other abilities

But after Solomon's death
The devils put magic books under the throne of Solomon
Even if the children of Israel came, they thought it was part of Solomon or of the Scriptures
Hence the magic mixed with the Bible
This is how the Qur'an says

101. And when there came to them a messenger from God, confirming what they had, a faction of those who were given the Book threw the Book of God behind their backs, as if they do not know.

102. And they followed what the devils taught during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but it was the devils who disbelieved. They taught the people witchcraft and what was revealed in Babylon to the two angels Harut and Marut. They did not teach anybody until they had said, “We are a test, so do not lose faith.” But they learned from them the means to cause separation between man and his wife. But they cannot harm anyone except with God's permission. And they learned what would harm them and not benefit them. Yet they knew that whoever deals in it will have no share in the Hereafter. Miserable is what they sold their souls for, if they only knew.

Magic is when a physical event occurs that can't be explained by or goes against the laws of nature.
