For those passing through: Straight white guys mad/sad at how unfair everything is for them, continue to use terms such as the one coined by a gay man's satire criticizing radicalized men due to fragile masculinity (snowflake).

Seems awfully hyperbolic. Both sides are ultimately self defeating. I remember the "Alt Right" whined incessantly like spoilt children about Captain Marvel when it came out. I'm largely indifferent to the movie myself, but I mean no one in the real world cared about what any political commentator had to say. It was just a superhero movie for little girls. Oh the humanity!
And then there was some stupidity from the "Anti SJWs" over the reboot of She Ra for some reason. Something about her not being feminine enough, despite the character being like 12 in that canon.
And the less said about the Star Wars fandom online the better. Just a never ending cat and dog fight. *shudders*
You want to talk triggered? Look at the Alt Right and Anti SJWs whine whenever something doesn't go their way.
And no, I'm not forgetting about the left. I remember the "radical left" on BookTwitter tried shutting down Carve the Mark because of a misinterpreted rumor of it being racist a while ago. I remember when a prominent reader and "BookTuber" was dragged online for a remark about #fakereadergirls (admittedly his remark was a little tone deaf) but the mob response was pretty appalling. No discourse, no trying to find common ground. Just dragged him. I looked into his comment and took issue with it, sure. But I found a new booktuber to follow, so I guess I should thank the "drama.'
I swear politics (specifically American politics) just ruins hobbies for everyone, no matter which side you choose. It has even affected my beloved online reader circles, where politics only arose if the book had politics in it. Now the SJW vs Anti SJW is seeping into the reader community. Is nothing sacred?!

Special snowflake. The term was coined by Chuck Palahniuk in the book Fight Club (which is different than the movie.) Specifically it was used by a terrorist who radicalized insecure men and breeds loyalty from their societal resentment.

The irony is that, when he still had his show that aired over here, he was considered an "extreme liberal" by U.S. conservatives due to his staunch anti-gun stance.

Such a nonsensical reply. These issues don't affect just 1 type of person. They effect all. If you think they only effect straight white guys then you need to check your privelege.
