But threads do take on lives of their own.

This was mostly in reference to rubbing someone the wrong way and backing slowly out of the room. There was just too many jokes there and I would not want to raise the ire of staff.

I was asking Audi, someone who has immigrated, for their informed and educated opinion;.

It was easy for me; my step dad was American,and
procedures were much simpler / quicker. I did not
even want to come to the USA, and was a regular
little brat about it.

An American friend who lived in Asia for close to ten
years married a local lady, and has two children.

He flies back and forth, to see his family, and fights
the INS. Two years, now? It is insane.

I have family members, absolutely clean records,
healthy, well educated, ambitious people. Wait wait

Then there are those from the "Banana Republics" that
the Americans ruined first with, yeah, bananas, and then
with drugs.

I am not sure what opinion you want. My opinion is
that the system, such as it is, is cruel and stupid
and inhuman.

Environmentalism is a fascist system very very similar to Nazism.

I remember when the green eco flags first came out. You could almost hear Heil Hitler.

Many causes do have their extremists. Though, it is unfair to portray the whole environmental movement entirely on the image of extremist groups like FOE or FOA.
