Amazing! Did you get to help with the dig?

Sort of, the archeologists let me dig in the mud just to keep me quiet. I am pretty sure they were confident there was nothing there for a pre teen to mess up

My primary school was a peaceful oasis with very little to remember. The secondary school not so much, being rather terrifying and apparently lawless when I joined. The older youths seem to have great fun lobbing large chunks of wood at each other in the playground - no teachers present - whilst the playing field saw lots of nasty attacks on the girls. One boy brought a .303 bullet into school, attempting to fire it by placing it on a window ledge and hitting it with a nail and brick. The house opposite seems to have escaped his attention. He failed fortunately. It did calm down over the years.

Too preoccupied with reading books (science, philosophy and poetry etc) and composing classical music to care for the school curriculum :D

I didn't care for most people at school, they were all (swearwords). I've probably exceeded my word-count by now.........
Way more than 10 words here.

It evidently didn't teach you maths very well at all :p

Not really, since it was just arithmetic then. :p I was actually one of the best in my class later, and passed my GCE Maths. And it was one my better subjects later too. So?

I did my ten bit earlier. :p

Damn. I was going to say that.
It took half an episode of 13 Reasons to remember why I hated high school and why I look like I'm about to brutally and viciously murder everyone in all my high school pictures; I had it worse in elementary school. Middle School warped and twisted and poisoned by worldview. I think the only things good to come out of my childhood was I survived it all and most of it was spent before computers and cell phones became common place and before commercial internet/world wide web - I still got to take off and disappear as a teen because we didn't yet have one attached to us at all times (and my mom was still able to find me almost anywhere I went).
