I get what you're saying but cultural exchange is natural and normal. There's nothing wrong with people adapting aspects of other cultures. The Middle East has always been a cultural melting pot. That doesn't mean the local culture dies or whatever.

But hey, if you really want to reject Americanization, then you should throw away your computer, cancel your electric service, and walk or ride horses everywhere instead of using motor vehicles... Because your use of all these things is your own "Americanization".
