This is my honest thoughts, I am honestly curious, for peoples opinions. I understand some people might not like what I have to say and that's ok . But I refuse to apologize for my honest and opinions.

I have often wondered , if the things that are written in the bible or other books of faith. Would have been interpreted the same today as they where when these things where written. To date there is no solid proof to validate these claims. Now, you may not like my last sentence but its true. I look in to and try to understand all points of views, I will never tell someone there believes and faith are wrong , because anything is possible.

With that said . Is it possible that , what people saw thousands of years ago, was interpreted by there understandings of things? And if we saw or experienced , what some people saw and experienced , that we might and probably would describe things differently , then others thousands of years ago. Is it possible ?

If that is possible and I believe interpretation will change generation to generation. Then maybe its not a god maybe its something else. while I believe anything is possible. I find it hard to believe in religion. based of stories, that have been revised dozens of times , and the fact that they pulled out at least 10 books of the bible, only 185 years ago. if we believe in something then why pull at least 10 books from the bible , and before someone says well we don't need those books , that tells me they have something to hide.

I am currently trying to get ahold of all the bible books that where removed, to try and figure out why they where removed.

I mean, in Revelation the author speaks of a miracle that is "fire come down from heaven in the sight of men" and then people are deceived. Whenever I read it, I think of someone in that age maybe thinking of lightning, electricity, and TV.

For good or ill, many religions have the gift of the Phoenix. The ones that survive history's exigencies tend to be robust and in a near-constant state of renewal and reinvention. For example, the Catholic Church entered modern times when it embraced Galileo and Darwin, and when it adopted critical New Testament scholarship and historical criticism. In organized religions, interpretations do change and evolve with time - a case of religious adaptation to new (social) conditions.

But interpretations can only evolve so far until they expand the organism to the point of bursting, which is destructive - or until the organism itself changes into a new form - destructive in its own way, but still at least a partial transmission of itself through time.

Only extreme fundamentalism is barred to serious re-interpretation. "Bible church" religion (in)famously stays frozen in time. Its only adaptation, forced upon it by changes in the secular society that surrounds it, is an accommodation of more frank language about (say) culture and sexuality. But it must continue to remain "that old time religion", or it will cease to be fundamentalism, and will go the way of the dodo.

Probably not. People see Jesus on burnt toast and it's a miracle. People tend to interpret what they experience to support their faith today just as they did then.

If that is possible and I believe interpretation will change generation to generation. Then maybe its not a god maybe its something else. while I believe anything is possible. I suspect many were removed because they didn't fit the narrative they wanted.

What 10 books did they pull out? Because currently, one of the most popular Bibles is the KJV, and it was printed and published in 1611.

wait a sec...people “in that age” wouldn’t be thinking of electricity and TV. Lightning, yeah.

Almost certainly people would have understood things differently.

We cannot really think outside our culturally conditioned mindset which takes into account values, beliefs, knowledge and experience.

The pre-modern mind was very different in these regards. Even certain things today that many people might think of as self-evident truths could be completely inconceivable to people in the past.

I'm not sure 'removed' is the correct way to describe it as there was nothing to be removed from.

The canon evolved somewhat organically over a long time, and many texts were never widely accepted as authentic let alone considered canon.

True religions do not change. The interpretations change because of social entropy. be careful, not to mingle religions with cults.

Absolutely.

Are you referring to the difference in the number of books between the Catholic and Protestant Bibles?
If so, the Reformers do not accept any that were not originally in Hebrew as inspired.
