The need for the Christian God?

Christianity teaches Christ blood is over the sins of Christians. They worship the diety who died for them. But with all the discussions of Christians trying to scientifically prove that Jesus is God the God not a God, the one and only you guys have not proved why people need a savior?

I personally don't see a need for a savior to save me and rescue me...........am I being saved from hell? i do not live in the future, I will not predict how my death will be but I am not afraid of death. I do not need my sins to be covered in Jesus blood.

So what i want to know is why? Why preach the gospel and why should anyone accept Jesus over any other religion, and what need does it serve, why do need a savior?

I see the need for a Savior because all have sinned and fall short of God's glory and perfection...except Jesus Christ the Savior, who is able to save all who call upon Him for forgiveness and eternal life.

Riders, you are a good. At least you have repercussants. Forgiveness to others as you yourself has had hateful thoughts.

You are just like me. A human. We are not perfect. None of us.

Only God can forgive sin. Nobody can die for your sin except yourself. There are seven deadly sins that cannot be forgiven. Righteousness is the only way into Heaven but it's not that hard. All you have to do is genuinely repent.

I am reminded of this scripture:

Mark 2:17 The Passion Translation (TPT)
17 But when Jesus overheard their complaint, he said to them, “Who goes to the doctor for a cure? Those who are well or those who are sick? I have not come to call the ‘righteous,’ but to call those who are sinners and bring them to repentance.”

It is perfectly all right for you not to "see a need for a savior" but that doesn't mean that others don't see a need for Him. In my case, with billions of others, I did and I'm glad He came and changed my life.

But, as a free will spiritual agent, I support your right not to need Jesus.

Well now let me say this. I do not have the goal to get people out of Christianity. I mean if your heart and your higher power says to be a Christian then so be it as long as your happy with it.

I just wanted to know outside of proof, because much of the time, I have noticed Christians debating against atheists with what yall consider to be scientific proof.

I usually disagree with it, but I wanted to this up here, because even if I believed the idea that Jesus is God or a God or the coming Messiah God told about, that would not convince me to be a follower.. For me there has to be a need and or a reason outside of evidence.

This is all I am saying. So just scratching my head at times as to why so much time has been put into proving Jesus is the one and only, when really that is not relevant as to why I would serve him.

Christ Jesus is teacher of how to find the Kingdom within us, agape, mysteries.

Well I do sin but theres no reason I cant ask the people I sinned against to forgive me and I've dome of that,I also can ask my higher power to forgive me. I do not need the forgiveness of Jesus the savior.
True is it, that nobody can do ones deeds (and with it it's effects) undone. It's good and wise to recognize a fault for oneself, feel ashamed, confess it (best to a spiritual/good friend) if done by words and deeds, and resolved to put an effort in not repeating it go on. Sure good to ask for pardon from one who was harmed as well, but such is not always possible.

How ever. One who lacks of such as an admirable friend (a "holly one") may make such toward an imaginary friend. Since people who lack of admirable friends, dwelling among worldlings, also benefit from doing amend, it's because of this that people need Jesus. Nothing bad of such if approached with right view, in and of itself.

Nevertheless, good householder, only one who has entered the stream (meaning actually has become a holy person by him/herself) does no more need a guide, can relay on him/herself. Something that is important and should be wisely and honest be proved.

Here a guideline on how to become independent of teachers, leaders: Into the Stream: A Study Guide on the First Stage of Awakening

Yes, people do that. Some people actually are seeking answers and so, probably, Christians are hoping that they are reaching a seeker. I was one at the age of 27. I'm glad someone answered my Questions.

Usually on forums, people aren't asking, they are attacking.

This is all I am saying. So just scratching my head at times as to why so much time has been put into proving Jesus is the one and only, when really that is not relevant as to why I would serve him.

That's a fair question. I suppose that people come to Jesus for different reasons but end up finding more than their reason. Hope is probably on the biggest level of why.

For the woman at the well, it was a restored heart in relationship,
For the woman with an issue of blood for more than a decade it was the healing of her body,
For Mary and Martha it was the resurrecting of their brother.
For my sister in law, it was the realization that she needed forgiveness
For my wife it was simply "If my husband and sister are going for a decision, I am too"
For me it was "My life is going from bad to worse - it won't hurt me to confess Jesus as my Lord"

But we all got more than what we asked for.

So I think it depends on the person you talk to. For some it is simply (as one person told me) "For me to accept Jesus, I would have to have a need for him. I'm happy just the way I am". I stopped sharing because he was right. No need to try when someone isn't knocking.

It doesn't seem like all christians worship, or have the same deity.

So, even in the question, I would have to ask what is meant by 'christian g-d'.

I don't know if this is a new phenomenon, or was extant in churches, [these different g-d concepts, or what, however, I'm certainly not going to associate my beliefs with a essentially nameless entity, unknown force, etc.

The need for the Christian God?

Anyone, please identify the Christian-God. I understand that there never existed any Christian-God.
Right, please?

I see the need for a Savior because all have sinned and fall short of God's glory and perfection...

If everybody has fallen short of the of this god's standard, then said god made a shoddy job of creating us, didn't it? Either that or it's applying an inappropriate standard to its creation.

A 100% failure rate isn't a choice, it's a design flaw.

...except Jesus Christ the Savior, who is able to save all who call upon Him for forgiveness and eternal life.

And this just doubles up the absurdity and injustice of the story - we have to believe this for it to have an effect.

..., and what need does it serve, why do need a savior?

Bible tells that the wage of sin is death. If one has sin/lives in sin, he needs savior from the judgment, if he wants to live.

These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.
Mat. 25:46

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23

Jesus came to declare God’s forgiveness. It is freely offered for all. But, I think it is important to understand, eternal life is for righteous. If person after forgiveness continues in sin, the forgiveness is not useful.
