Just Saying...

In the old days I remember listening to sermons about pleasing God.

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Rom. 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

So, there are just lots of admonishments about what happens if our ways do not please God. Here is a web site that has 25 of them. 25 Bible verses about Not Pleasing God.

Just saying here. Those who disagree, good luck.

Maybe the causation of all the violence is actually identifiable?

I like this one: When you make a vow to God, do not be late in paying it; for He takes no delight in fools Pay what you vow!""

I once made a vow, I could not keep. Oh my God ... "God" nearly killed me for it. I never make a vow again "oeps...."

Pretty sure violence has existed for a Millenia in our species.
I mean, even in modern history there’s been like how many major wars? America is pretty gung ho about causing violence in the world to achieve its motives. I suppose it was rather reticent about entering WWII. Until it affected them directly. Understandable since no one really wanted another war after the “Great War” really.

America keeps chasing its tail on gun violence. Blaming issues that exist literally the world over, but somehow uniquely affects their violence because something something lack of God. No other secular nation seems to have American problems. Why?

I am ill suite for debating. My stepfather would hit me if i disagreed.
Thanks for sharing. Never thought of it. This is probably why I avoid debate too. My feelings didn't matter either. If I did not like to eat what they had, they just forced me, even if I was full. Once even poop. But he never hit me.
