The absolute truth is in the religions. Everyone has access to the religions. So the absolute truth is wide open. But still people refuse to listen.

I suppose it would depend on the truth. If the truth could save tens of thousands, unlock humanities true potential or something like that and all of the governments of the world were trying to prevent you from revealing that truth.

A number of scifi movies and stories cast the hero in this role.
