The Sublime Buddha didn't taught only the path to Nibbana, but also to heavens and your God

A broad misconception that the Sublime Buddha, known as the unexcelled teacher of humans and Gods, taught only the Ending of Birth might be well overcome to know that the Buddha taught also the path of conduct to really reach heavens and unification with ones God (Brahma) as well, especially to householders.

Why they have reasons for doutbs... what might be based on wrong views...

While he never really disregarded categorical alternatives upwardly, he often helpen with rebuking that those seeking after heavens, whealth life... would find their destiny and get not lost in areas of unknown since many preachers did not actually know where they tried to build their stairways to:

"Potthapada, it's as if a man at a crossroads were to build a staircase for ascending to a palace, and other people were to say to him, 'Well, my good man, this palace for which you are building a staircase: do you know whether it's east, west, north, or south of here? Whether it's high, low, or in between?' and, when asked this, he would say, 'No.' Then they would say to him, 'So you don't know or see the palace for which you are building a staircase?' When asked this, he would say, 'Yes.'

"So what do you think, Potthapada — when this is the case, don't the words of that man turn out to be unconvincing?"

"Yes, lord..."

"In the same way, there are some brahmans & contemplatives with a doctrine & view like this: 'After death, the self is exclusively happy and free from disease.'... Don't the words of those brahmans & contemplatives turn out to be unconvincing?"

"Yes, lord. When this is the case, the words of those brahmans & contemplatives turn out to be unconvincing."... read further here: Potthapada Sutta: About Potthapada

Much joy in exploring the secure stairway to heavens...

"I go to Master Gotama for refuge, to the Dhamma, and to the Sangha of monks. May Master Gotama remember me as a lay follower who has gone to him for refuge, from this day forward, for life."
My conclusion too. A great sutra which covers the essential teachings.
