The Hadith, source of Islamic atrocities.

A couple of points:

1 - Every woman i know would be offended by this video
2 - I trust the renowned scholars to translated the Quran, more than i trust this speaker. She is apologizing for the Quran.
3 - The Quran declares itself to be easy to understand. It should not take 5 minutes to explain a few sentences.

Once again, the problem begins because Muslims INSIST that the book is perfect.

Don't all religions declare their books perfect? I don't think any are.

If 1 in 10 people in your country wanted to kill you would you see it as fair? Or would you say they have to face criticism till they disappear? I say the latter.
The point is, You don't know what those 10% want at all. It is an assumption, just like the other assumptions you made about Muslims in this thread.

Even if a Muslim supports the law for Death Penalty for apostasy, that doesn't mean "They want to kill me."

If they wanted to kill me, for no other reason than the fact that I was a Muslim and now I have chosen to permanently be an Atheist, then that is very very bad. I disagree with it completely. But, how many Muslims believe that, Daniel? I don't even think its 10%.

Supporting that a law is on the books ( that's what the survey asks ) is not the same as supporting it's enforcement 100% of the time.

A lot of people support that the death penalty in America, but that doesn't mean they want to "Kill the murderer". A lot of people probably hope that the court system shows mercy for all but the most extreme cases.

But that doesn't take into account that Islamic law is not comparable to American law. You and I don't really know much about it. And that is the point.

You are making assumptions. Again. And you track record for accuracy is somewhat low in this thread regarding the death penalty for apostasy.

It relates to the following verse.
For women ^

It isn't really physical correction it's a gesture. If that either doesn't work, he might leave her. So if a husband does it to his wife they both know that the situation is serious. It means the husband feels he has tried everything else and the wife feels she still cannot overcome whatever it is that is the matter. It also shows gentleness and humility.

Do men ever need correction or are they perfect? I thought that only God was perfect.

I follow Jesus, He is my teacher.
And if Jesus calls the deceivers out for what they are, why should I not?
How else can one tell someone they are teaching the will of devils?
I am a firm believer that Jesus preached Love, but I refuse to keep silent to hurt someone's feelings when I see that he is telling lies to innocent souls!
This "Jesus loves" isa terrible weapon used by the enemy of Christ, to subdue the truth and reality of what realy is going on in the world.
I love all people, I love Muslims, Buddists, LDS, JW's and all the other people on this Earth,
I however will never lie to my own soull by excusing the religious lies!
I hate the lies of Muhammad, Jim Jones, Buddah, and all these religions who have no concience when they kill the soul of MAN.
I never fight any creatoin of God, I will also never stop fighting the ideologies of Satan.
In otherwords, I am a word fighter.
Matt 23:23 Fill up, then, the measure of the sin of your fathers. 33You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape the sentence of hell? 34Because of this, I am sending you prophets and wise men and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify, and others you will flog in your synagogues and persecute in town after town.…
Jesus called Vipers Vipers when they were vipers.
Names Jesus Called the Scribes and Pharisees
1. Ye blind guides (Matt. 23:16).
2. Ye fools (Matt. 23:17).
3. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees…for ye are like whited supulchres…full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness (Matt. 23:27).
4. Ye serpents (Matt. 23:33).
5. Ye generation of vipers (Matt. 23:33).
6. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! (Luke 11:44).
7. Ye are as graves which appear not (Luke 11:44).

That was Jesus judging because He is God in the flesh. We are told not to do in many ways.
Luke 12:14 Jesus replied, “Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?”

John 5:22 Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son,

What we are taught to do:

John 8:6-10
6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”

Titus 3:2 To speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.

Philippians 2:3-4
Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

James 1:26
If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless.

1 Peter 3:8-12
Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.
Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called,
that you may obtain a blessing. For “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue
from evil and his lips from speaking deceit; let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

2 Timothy 2:25 Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth,

Hebrews 5:2 He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray, since he himself is subject to weakness.

If you see any Muslim wearing islamic clothing and praying 5 times a day, be sure he adheres 100% to the Hadith.
There is not a single prescription of 5 prayers in the Quran, nor anything about their clothing, beards etc.
I am never mislead by words, but always seek the actions to find if someone is lying to me.

QURAN

Why prayer 5 times a day is accurate.
Are the five daily prayers mentioned in the Qur’aan? - Islam Question & Answer

Womens' dress
Women's Dress Code Acording to Quran | Submission.org - Your best source for Submission (Islam)

Nothing on beards except that everything on earth is natural. Therefore, a beard is natural.

BIBLE

Mens' beards
Leviticus 19:27 and Samuel 10:4

Womens' dress
I Timothy 2:9, Matthew 5:14-16, Deuteronomy 22:5 and I Peter 3:1-4.

I often think how similar is the dress of devout Muslim women and Christian Catholic nuns and many Protestant Christian Women with long dresses and head coverings for the same reason, modesty.

Prayer
Ephesians 6:18, Proverbs 15:8 and Psalm 149:4

So, why is it that you hate Muslims so much? Christianity and Islam are both Abrahamic religions just like Judaism. There are radicals in any religion including Christianity. There is no difference here. Some people are good and some not so much. It doesn't matter which religion.

Yes, Hindus are better. They would never take up an AK-47 and go on shooting innocents or place a bomb in a bus.

Oh they haven't?

I guess we gonna forget the killing of Graham Staines, Gujarat riots, the 2007 bombings of Samjhuata Express, the Malegaon blast, and the Mecca Masjid bombings.

We are generally a conservative people. I do not see anything wrong in putting the idols of their deities in their homes or businesses.

I have no issues either, but if the people are going to represent the deities they worship and proclaim a level of compassion express by said deity their behavior ought to reflect that. My experiences with Hindus has been the opposite. you and I have discussed this already. Many Indians of Hindu faith are racist as hell. A lot of them are like any people I've encountered. The problem with my experience with Hindus like my experiences with some Jews is some of you have a sense of entitlement and self-righteousness. You see, you may deny my experiences you cannot deny reality. If you worship a god of love and compassion and you display that god you ought to be actively trying to take upon said trait yourself but it is my experiences that Indian Hindus are the complete opposite. Ironically I've met Indian Muslims of Pakistani descent that are the complete opposite. Is it possible because culturally they're from Pakistan, or because they are Muslim? (Shrug)

One gets respect if one gives respect. It is a mutual thing.

I agree. Like we've discussed before Indian Hindus have castigated every African-American because of what they've seen on television and what they've experienced in the inner city. I've only had one positive experience with 1 Hindu a nurse I work with and even with her I distance myself. Not because of her faith but for work related reasons. The thing is 99% of my experiences have not been positive and in fact it makes me not want to know anything about Hindusim because of its adherents.

Wow! I never knew that. I thought Hindus were loving.

They probably are, if you're the right color. My uncle was homeless for a few days and tried to get him a motel. Walking up to the window I seen that little card of the Hindu deity. Young man walks up, I asked for a room. The guy asked for how many nights? I say three. Then he goes on to say there is no vacancy. I left called back pretending to sound like a white guy. Same questions as before, except I asked if they were vacancies he said yes. I went back confronted him about it, he got scared and left. I tried 5 motels like that all Indian Hindus with their gods in the window all having nasty attitudes. I just put my uncle at a Hilton. It was expensive but hey he needed a place to stay.

I've asked my co-workers about this most that come from India and yes Indians have this negative stereotype coming to American against black people, hell even against the African students that go to India. The point is that the irony of a people who hate me but are darker than me in complexion, and who proclaim to worship a compassionate god or gods yet expressed none to fellow human beings. Hinduism is an ethno-religion. I have a better relationship with Sikhs (even though some of them are like many Hindus when it come to racism). Hinduism has a long way to go before it can judge another faith based on the actions of its members.

The Ahadith relate to the Qur'an in two very significant, complementary ways.

The Qur'an states a lot of things that are either not very meaningful, very complete or very defensable by themselves. That makes additional commentary necessary, and the Ahadith are one of the main sources of that.

On the other hand, the Qur'an is positioned in such a central way for Islaamic practice that a Muslim has no choice but to attempt to protect its reputation no matter what. That makes the Ahadith convenient, almost automatic scapegoats when the doctrine is perceived for the wreckage that it is.

Before the killing of Staines, Christians killed a Hindu monk. Before the Gujarat riots, Muslims burnt a rail compartment carrying Hindu pilgrims.
A whole community of some 300,000 people was made to leave their homeland in Kashmir.
The Congress government of the time allowed the Pakistani terrorist who may have placed the Samjhauta Express bomb to leave so as to frame Hindus.
You may be correct about Makka Masjid. Also consider the innumerable provocations and terror attacks that Hindus have faced. Even now, cow-slaughter goes on unabated business when it is prohibited by law in Northern States. Our security forces have killed about a 1,000 terrorists this year and about 5,000 during the last five years.

You mean Christians and Muslims should go on killing Hindus and we should never react. Don't look just at one side of the coin.

No, we don't worship a God of love. Krishna said if killing is necessary for 'dharma', then do it.

Hinduism has one of the oldest histories of racism with their caste system:
Caste system in India - Wikipedia
The untouchables are shunned by their society.

Hitler got his view of Aryans and the symbol of the Swastika from them.
Caste system is not racism. We have done ample amends for people of lower castes; so much so that being of lower castes in India today is a definite advantage.
Reservation in India - Wikipedia
Today, any disrespect to lower castes is liable to be punished with at least five years of jail.
Swastika was not used only by Hindus. Even Jews used it in history. We do not have Hitler's kind of Aryan theory in Hinduism. Aryans have been assimilated with the indigenous people for at least the last 3,000 years.

The Islamic marriage seems to expect farther perfection from the husband than it does from the wife. The marriage leans on the husband. If the husband is not fulfilling his obligations the marriage will suffer with it. But the wife can advice the husband and the husband's family hopefully advices him as well. If there are disputes as to what the husband's responsibilities are they can ask an imam for help.

OMG! You make me want to cry. My heart goes out to you. I do know that there is racism in this world but as you said, some Indians are very dark. Why would they hate people of African descent? I never can understand all of this type of thing. Why can't people just love each other? I have never in my life understood hatred toward other people because of race, religion, sexuality, sex, etc. I don't know why not but it has never been a thing to me. So, when I encounter it, I am amazed and even hurt. Hate is the worst thing I can think of. Murder, rape, etc. all include hate. Maybe I'm living in a fantasy world but I don't understand why people don't just love each other. I have met all kinds of people and I always love the nice people no matter what "type" they are. I don't love the mean people as much even though I try to understand that they must be unhappy to be so mean and hateful.

You can what?
I can spar (related words: argue, quarrel, contend, bicker, wrangle, box, fight, dispute, contest) with Muslims on Quran and Hadith, but neither relish it nor can spare that much time. You would perhaps agree that it is a useless exercise. Allah said: Say,
Lakum deenukum wa liya deen لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِىَ دِينِ

Indians are generally reserved people. Yes, we have fair people among us as well as dark-skinned (most of our Gods are supposed to be dark-skinned). We have citizens of African origin. They have been here for centuries and have adjusted very well as a part of the Indian society (Siddis, Hubshis - Gujarat, Hyderbad). Some of them were kings of their principalities. What we do not like is 'frivolity'. Most conflicts with Africans in India are because of that. Drinking, loud music, etc.

And they look just as nice in Indian clothes (in spite of the poverty of the people in the image. Not all such are poor).
