Mat Staver: The “Q” in LGBTQ Stands for Pedophilia

Be advised that @Skwim seldom presents a positive picture of Christians.
We see an endless parade of horribles, so of course they'll look heinous.
If he treated Muslims the same on RF, there'd be cries for his head on a pike.
"Racist!" (Now that religion is a race.)
But Christians are fair game for misleading portrayal.

My own experience with Christians is disappointing. Still, the perils of serving the truth and God are well depicted in the Bible.

Can we assume then that being a Christian in good standing you've never lied or committed any other sin?

.
Are you saying that if you are a Christian and you are lying, it still makes you a Christian?

My impression of god's Sin and Salvation game is that everyone sins, which would include Christians, and lying, like committing most any other sin, wouldn't disbar a person from being a Christian.

Queer does include pedophilia.
No matter how they try to gloss over their terms to hide the true nature, there is nothing hidden that will not be exposed. Mark 4:22
No, it doesn't. Christians should be the last people to try and accuse others of abusing children when your lot have been raping kids for decades or centuries. Trying to pin it on gays is a sick old trick. We're not having it anymore.

What doesn't?
Christian are made up of people. Not every person calling themselves Christian, practices true Christianity.
It is the same with child care personnel, or any person (police, doctor, nurse, teacher, coach, politician, etc.) that vows honesty and justice. They are people... People who lie, cheat, and hide what they are.

Jesus never promoted pedophilia. Nor did his followers. So no. It is not Christians who have been raping children... It is people who hide what they are.
Sorry. I know you want what you say to be true, but it is not.

It's people who are Christians, especially clergy and other church authorities, who have been abusing children for decades and covering it up, while acting like moral arbiters to the rest of the world with a self-righteous facade. I know you so badly want to shrug it off but it's not going to work with me.

His counterpart in the secular realm is Rider. Who posts nothing but negative against Trump, who coincidentally happens to be Christian. (Wait for the rebuttals toward that)
Haterade marketing leaves consumers thirsty.

Religion is not a race. How silly would that be.

If you don't see trump as a dangerous molester, we won't talk again. If you can excuse his jokes about grabbing women ... I had thought that you might have something to say...

Not just lying, like a simple lie, but lying about what one really is.
There is a difference.
If I am not living a Christian life, I am lying about it. I would not be a Christian.

But that doesn't preclude the reality that one can say one is a Christian and yet isn't.

cool no true Scotsman. By your ad hoc exclusion here, is anyone a "true Christian" then?

Is he posting negative posts about Trump because he claims to be a Christian or simply because Trump is a moronic idiot?

Notice I said, living up to true Christianity.
If one is practicing true Christianity - living according to Christ's teachings and example, they are Christian. If they aren't, how can they be? They are not.
They just call themselves that.
If I am following Christ's teachings and example, and realize that I am having wrong thoughts, I do this... James 5:14, as a true Christian.
I don't rape a child, and hope no one learns about it.
Child abuse is just like going to a brothel in the dead of night.
How can I be Christian, and living such a life?

Some people have internalised their support of Trump to such an extent that any criticism of him feels like a personal attack on them, thus they come up with these weird projected ideas of people attacking Trump for being what they strongly identify as. So criticising Trump, who seems fairly a-religious by any meaningful standard, gets scrambled up in the True Believers minds as an attack on him for being Christian, because THEY feel that THEY are being attacked, and THEY strongly identify as Christian. This is all sub- or unconscious, of course, and most of them lack the self awareness and mindfulness to tease it out, hence we get these people who think valid criticism of Trump for purely secular reasons is an anti-Christian attack. Humans are weird.

According to this "logic", most of the Apostles and Jesus' other followers weren't Christians because they still sinned while following him. They deserted him in his time of need out of fear. Peter denied Jesus 3 times and Jesus called him "satan" at one point (meaning he was an adversary to God's plan in what he was proposing). This idea that Christians will no longer sin after becoming Christian is unbiblical.

Uhuh. I'm sure the Christ who ate with prostitutes and tax collectors and taught the parable of the prodigal son appreciates your gatekeeping.
