@stvdv 's avatar is bare feet, symbolizing poverty of spirit, and Moses had to approach the lord with bare feet, symbolizing sacred Surrender to a higher power.

My favorite most noble-minded RF comrade! Pardon the flattery. :D

Thank you Matt, you are very creative. Beautiful. Creativity is Divine
Your posts are always a delight to the eye, and you do it just using a smartphone

The feet reminds me to walk my own way ... even if others try to convince me otherwise

I appreciate it, but must add that I use the library or computer lab a lot, but yes, most of what I type is me speaking into a smartphone.

Walk the path that is destined for your feet. Pray to your higher power for guidance, then listen to your heart, not giving into peer pressure if your gut or conscience tells you the advice is not good to follow.

May your dreams come true and may they be inspired by God and heavenly beings.

I can tell you are one of Gods favorites! :)

Thank you all for your best wishes. Was a good day, all those best wishes. I only had best wishes here on RF today, quite a surprise:)

May Religiousforums.com keep on sharing "Love" in the world
I'm so glad I started a thread about fascism, because had I not, I'd never have seen it was your birthday, and this thread would not exist.

So, there is an addition to the many good things that have come from interior fascism, the most misunderstood religion on Earth.

It's done some great things for me, but I appreciate the small things just as much.

Today is the feast of our Lady of Mount Carmel, the one who gave the scapular to st. Simon stock. She appears to people wearing the Carmelite habit.

The Carmelite habit is the only habit I've worn, and I spent a year at a Carmelite Hermitage/monastery trying to be a monk. The habit is the robe they wear.

Carmelites are named after Mount Carmel, and they are the only religious order within the Catholic Church that existed before Jesus Christ.

The Carmelite order dates back to the time of the prophet Elijah when he started the school of prophets on Mount Carmel. Also, they are the only order named after a place.

So, it's kinda an important day cuz I used to watch the carmelites celebrate this day, and it was a splendid and informative festival, mass, and prayer services.

They celebrate this day like it is Easter or Christmas. Lol!

Wow, I did not know that. Was it a good experience?

Did the Lady appear to you?

Wish you a happy "Lady Carmel Day" and wish she appears to you today.:)
