I'm not sure we are talking about the same point. What exactly do you think my point is?

There are different forms of representation. Saying "we" elected him when the majority of the population didn't vote nor vote for Trump is treating representation of government as the same as representation of the person. IE US rhetoric.

Our system of voting is what it is, & won't be what the losers wish for.
Btw, no candidate got a majority of the population or even of the voting public.
Hillary had a plurality of popular votes, but the winner had the majority
of electoral college votes....which determines the winner under our law.

I was just talking about different forms of representation. One of government compared to one of the individual. Hence those that say "Not my POTUS" are rejecting one form of representation.

Clarify then. If POTUS is a symbol than you must divorce the person from the office.
The person is never divorced from the office, especially when the person acts in certain ways within the office.

The point is that a major symbol for America is wanting in class, dignity, and integrity. That is all. When this happens one would expect to see morale and opinion of America decline. I anticipated it regardless of which the two front runners in the election was elected. But now that we elected Trump, I find it astonishing that anyone is surprised by the fact that public opinion (both international and domestic) of the U.S. is declining. When discussing this in the past with Trump supporters (anyone who voted for Trump) they have concluded that this opinion doesn't matter. I disagree. I wonder what your opinion on the subject is?

The real reason is CNN International is the main source of international news about the USA. That is fake news international and the propaganda wing of the Democrat party. The fake news you see in the US, contaminates the world, but without enough truthful pushback, internationally.

Trump has shown himself to be smarter than the entire Democrats brain trust, combined. He has pushed the Democrat buttons, to where they are full of irrational rage, making bad judgement calls, that will come back to bite them. Instead of understanding Trump, they look at him through their own bias projections and propaganda, due to their biased rage.

For example, Trump is not a lawyer or politician, in the classic sense of promoting political bias and division. He was originally a practical minded businessman, whose goal was to make money. A good money maker does not insult half of the potential customers, by being biased in his dealings. A successful business man looks for solutions that will appeal to all types of customers. He has applied this to his presidential style. This makes him unorthodox and has resulted in biased against him by lawyer members of both parties.

The Democrats and Republicans, traditionally, each have their pet issues that are typically polarized based on party. For example, Republican is business needs, while Democrat is social needs. Both parties have good ideas in their niche. However, due to the nature of political bias snd gaming, each maintained one side of the coin.

Trump's style tries to appeal to both sides. He is not a full Republican partisan, but he can use ideas from both sides hoping to get customers from both sides of the isle. For example, instead of draw line between industry and the environment, Trump believes you can do both. This appeals to more voters.

This approach has caused the Democrats the most problems. They are so biased against Trump's CNN cartoon image, that when Trump tries to integrate their side of the coin, they will oppose themselves; two faced departure, by coming up with new, lame brain, alternatives, rather than ally with Trump.

For example, during the election cycle of 2016 the Dreamer issue was a Democrat issue. This issue made sense and was polarize to the Republican issue of only legal immigration. Trump, as president saw the Dreamer issue as a common sense issue. He also haw legal immigration as common sense. He made an attempt to use the Dreamer issue to cross the isle. Trump offered even more than the Democrats suggested. Since the Democrats hated Trump, they opposed their own issue, simply because Trump now backed it.

The Democrats asme up with the Sanctuary City alternative, which has no foundation in common sense, since it protects criminals and not innocent children. Trump has successfully commandeered the common sense Democrat platform of old, causing the Democrats to reinvent themselves, using extreme prototypes that have far less popular appeal.

Nancy Pelosi seems to be seeing what is happening, and is trying to rein in her more radical wing, who is wanting to reinvent the Democrats Party down impractical polarized lines, all due to the Trump derangement syndrome. Trump is going to win in the landslide, using Democrats ideas, from the past, that still resonate in the minds of older Democrats. He already has the Republican vote due to them happy he employed their classic ideas.

While i agree CNN airs a lot of propaganda, i think your views represent a misguided view of history and another version of propaganda.

If you would like to try to look at this objectively then simply explain what it means to have integrity. Then we will examine whether Trump has this trait.

Such as lying 10+ times per day when speaking publicly, and separating children from their parents and putting them in cages so as to "send a message" as Trump has repeatedly said is his motive, and by repeatedly committing adultery and using prostitutes while paying the latter off, and by bragging about his penis size, and by bragging how he can grope women, and by bragging about his wealth and then giving the wealthy a huge tax break that'll be put on the back of our kids and grandkids, and by threatening to destroy entire countries, and by his racist and xenophobic statements and actions, and...?

If that the Republican agenda, and it seemingly now is, then how exactly does this fit in any way into the teachings of Jesus or the Church? How can any person of conscience excuse what he repeatedly does and says and support such a man?

If you understood history, you would know that one of the first things any wannabe dictator does is diminish the Free Press.

There are many ways to do this. One is to completely shut down the press except for one official Government "channel". Another way is to convince people that everything they see/hear/read in the press is Fake News.

The former is what is in effect in China. Most young Chinese have never even heard of Tienamin Square. That is even more true in North Korea. It is true to a lesser extent in Russia.

The latter is what is happening in America under Trump. You don't see it because you don't want to see it.

I was speaking of you.
And the one that created the cartoon that is a blatant lie concerning Trump. And is blatantly disrespectful of the dead.

It is also a form of racism to claim brown people are exempt from obeying immigration laws.
Trump didn't kill that parent and child in the Rio Grande.
Fascinating how so many people are clamouring to enter a country so they can all be held in "concentration camps".

Wrong. The person comes and goes but the office remains.

The point is that a major symbol for America is wanting in class, dignity, and integrity. That is all.

If people want smooth talkers that lie to them that is their problem.

When this happens one would expect to see morale and opinion of America decline.

The US government... moral? hahaha The first mistake was this premise thus the point is null.

The masses can be ignored as geo-politics overrides their opinion and always has.

When discussing this in the past with Trump supporters (anyone who voted for Trump) they have concluded that this opinion doesn't matter. I disagree. I wonder what your opinion on the subject is?

The masses opinion does not matter. It didn't matter in Libya, it didn't matter in Yemen, it didn't matter in the Iran deal.

More so the father filed a false asylum claim yet Trump is blamed for their deaths which is solely the father's fault. His, the father, mother or mother-law spilled the beans. He was an economic migrant

No--- it is an extremely accurate description of the beast that is commonly known as "trump". It shows his character perfectly. It shows his self-importance very, very well.

It shows how little tЯump cares for Brown People-- he literally hates them. He has said, in speeches, that he thinks all Brown People are rapists, murderers and worse. This isn't secret-- he said words to that effect.

It is also a form of racism to claim brown people are exempt from obeying immigration laws..

Do you think it is okay to put children in cages?

Trump didn't kill that parent and child in the Rio Grande.

The evil that is tЯump's POLICIES DID-- Do you think it is okay to put children in cages?

Fascinating how so many people are clamouring to enter a country so they can all be held in "concentration camps".

So you ARE okay with putting children in cages like dogs?

No, i was right.

Who is elected matters. How they act matters. Their history, their choices all of that matter.

You may have this jaded view where all people lack class, dignity, and integrity, so the only possible choice is between a liar who hides their lies well and a liar who is brash and disrespectful. I disagree. I think we should have high expectations for those whom we give authority.

Those who are given authority should face scrutiny. Throwing hands up and saying "well it doesn't matter anyway" is a cop-out.
