Us Americans get made fun of a lot because of how fat we are, and I hear people from other countries say that the only fat people they see are American tourists.
I saw the most obese man today. he looks like something you would see in the Guinness book of world records. he was in an electric wheelchair where his groceries full of food hung, and I have no clue how the guy bathes or gets in bed or does anything, he's so huge.
Being thin, I used to look down on such people, but then I realized, I see myself in him. I'm guilty of a different type of gluttony known as drug addiction. I've got many other faults and am sick in other ways.
From now on when I see a fat person, I'm just going to say "there goes I"!
It is hypocritical for a sick person with many vices to judge and condemn someone who has a different vice or sickness.
Do you agree?
