International Court of Moderate Abrahamic Religious Leaders

What Facebook has just done with Nick Clegg is interesting.,an independent court to help Facebook and other social media platforms make decisions as to which content should be included/excluded. The courts rulings are binding...
Perhaps there should be an International court of moderate abrahamic religious leaders , and representative of all factions, whose job it is to interpret all those verses that encourage violence, hatred, divisiveness etc. and either change them, remove them or probably the best option, rule, in a binding way on the best way that they should be re-interpreted . The rulings would be binding on all Rabbis, Priests, Vicars, Imams and so on ...........and if the rules are broken that teacher/preacher should be held accounatble.
Even if the verses cannot be re-interpreted then there should be added a modern day explanation why the verse is not appropriate in today's society.

if you are wondering why I suggest moderate leaders that is because they will set the standard for this revision of the texts

I urge you, before you reply to also take a look at https://www.theosthinktank.co.uk/cmsfiles/Killing-in-the-Name-of-God.pdf.... I played no part in that article but religious violence is on the increase, especially in Europe and requires treatment.
What are your views on this proposal?

Basically the same argument can be used for all types of media. So what would you like to start with, on screen violence, historical violence, fictional violence?

Your posts only point to one thing you're a anti-religious totalitarian

No, I am a theist. I am far from totalitarian. You say you are a theist. Are you happy that God has to witness such acts of murder, violence in God's name. You OK with that, theist?

There are verses in the Koran, in Deuteronomy and the new testament that can be taught to radicalize. Its happening here in Europe all the time
Free speech is not free if someone else pays the price.
I am not interested in trying to deal with any other sort of violence theist because the religiously violent, brainwashed extremist brandishes in their mind the sword of God and that is the most dangerous weapon in the world

I know I've read your website which is totally anti religious

Oh and I'm totally fine with violence if it becomes a necessity.

Literally all of them, because they would be taken out in the name of pandering to people who have no spine and can't stand even the mere thought of encountering ideas or statements that make them uncomfortable and which require them to think and grapple with serious issues of ethics, theology and salvation, like you, apparently.

You're not wrong to believe whatever you want, as long as it's not forced down someone's throat.

I personally believe that the Creator is more 'hands off' on this earth than what some religions believe.

Anti- religious yes, anti- God no!
So you are totally fine with the violence of Islamic extremists....I see!

Faith-confidence in what we hope for (Hebrews 11)
Why are you obsessed with this? It is not going to happen. Never ever. There is no fix.
Yes, there is. God is going to eliminate all violence and inhumanity. Those who love God are already withdrawing from violent behavior and enjoyment of such.

Anti- religious yes,
And the cat's out of the bag. You think nobody should have freedom of religion. Got it. Looks like we're at an impasse here.

Nope, not at all. I just don't come up with outlandish ideas based on counterfactual assumptions on what to do about it.

Not only that he's also promoting his version of religion

Ok so can I suggest you take a look at this Am I Wrong To Think That There Is A God, But Not Operating In This World

I actually am a lover of Jesus, but not as the son of God . One of the key things Jesus said was in Matthew 18 2-4
That is how you should read the Bible imo, as a christian with child-like naivety......You will probably end up where i did :)

I, too, am a lover of Jesus, but now you got my curiosity up -- why would you say that if a person would read the Bible as a Christian with child-like naivety, he would probably end up where you did? (Where did you end up?)

Because once you have read the beautiful Blessing God gave Noah and his family and carefully consider the Everlasting covenant which is err......everlasting!! and understand what the covenant truly means you then get a nasty story about Noah and Canaan where all of a sudden Noah takes it upon himself to trump God's blessing by cursing the descendant of Ham that God had just blessed. Nothing can trump God's blessing and we all know much later the Hebrews trampled all over Canaan. God's Blessing cannot be trumped nor taken away . Then of course there is a silly story about babel and then God becomes tribal ie re Abraham. So you back-pedal and stay with God's words. Going any further is losing God ......IMO The story of Noah and Ham tries to make a mockery of the power of God's Blessing to All.

@Lionel Refson I have some thoughts about what anyone who wants to can do about people using religious scriptures to excuse and camouflage harmful attitudes and behavior. Not instead of whatever you’re proposing, but along with it. See this post:

A different approach to revising Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
Will do !
