Biden sets aside Obama's massive executive orders and accuses trump of overuse of power

A bit lopsided? or reasonable? Your view?

Obama signed more executive orders in the first 12 days than Trump
Chart: Donald Trump's first 12 days of executive orders
Classic cherry picking.
You take this tiny 12 day window out of the 2+ years that Don the con has been in office, to compare to the first 12 days when Obama was trying to pull the country out of the Republican recession.
However when we actually look at the real facts, comparing the same time span of 2 1/2+ years, we see that
1st. Obama has one of the lowest number of executive orders of any president for the past century,
and
2nd. Trump has passed him by month for a month and year for year.
At this rate your authoritarian, power-hungry Republican president will pass Obama’s total feom 8 years, in very short order, even though Trump will only be a one-term president (God willing).

Where is all the conservative squealing and crying and gnashing of teeth like they did when Obama (faced with constant resistance from Congress) had to use the executive orders at such a low level, just to get a little work done.? o_O

I don't care about the count. It's a meaningless number without knowing the impact of those executive orders including how many were overturned by the courts.

Not all EOs are the same. More so the use of EOs has increased as Congress has become increasingly unwilling to form compromises when an issue touches a party platform.

Biden is just pandering unless he points out specifics. POTUS has increased in power without Trump and has for decades. For one Congress has been creating agencies to cover it's responsibilities which must be part of the executive branch thus Congress has shifted part of it's own power to the office of POTUS. A Congress Biden was part of for decades.

If Biden doesn't have substance to go on, what can he do but pander?

But... my guess is the political cartoonists are praying for a contest between Biden and Trump seeing both have a way with words.

What makes you think it was a Republican Recession?

I think lack of substance is very common in politics due to omission of government procedure when making a pitch.

Yah it will be like parody of an election in my view. The live debates are going to be a train wreck but a hilarious one.
