the ones you're ok to use may still cause side effects. Like causing mood swings and inducing bipolar disorder. Which I'm also scared to even mention to any health care provider because its one of the more serious illnesses that have to looked at first before they can proceed with a medical transition. I need to, but I'm not looking forward to any further delays.

That's a tough situation to be in.

I also think wisdom can be gained by being in touch with one's own faults and inner monster.

I've posted this here before, but this time it's in response to what you wrote. It expresses my attitude that yes one should be self-aware. And the next step is how to respond to that awareness:

My companion is fear
Walking behind me like a shadow.
He sees obstacles where none are,
He knows death as disintegration,
He comes from hell to cherish me
Saying 'turn right,' 'turn left,'
'Look, there is a lion in the road
And no resurrection.'

Yet I will make my torturer
My dear companion.
For in acceptance he grows honest,
Showing that a skeleton is only bones
And one moment no longer than another
And pain only sensation
Like the color of the rose,
Less than the falling of a leaf.

See, I shall turn my head,
Diminish him with pity,
Kill him with understanding
Even love . . .
Looking him in the eye
I shall observe his dwindling
Because he is only a shadow
Lost between me and the sun.

Well.....Wednesday...... waahoo
This version of the nursery rhyme might express something

Monday’s child is fair of face
Tuesday’s child is full of grace
Wednesday’s child is full of woe
Thursday’s child has far to go
Friday’s child is loving and giving
Saturday’s child works hard for his living
And the child that is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay.

I had a squirt bottle with apple vinegar in it, but recently I took out the vinegar in order to use it to make some makeshift spider repellent. I put some drops of peppermint extract into some water along with a drop of blue dawn.

Now today I was going to make some scrambled eggs and thought I'd put a little vinegar into them. Oops.

I've decided to cook them and taste them. The dawn is so dilute it won't hurt me, and who knows maybe it will taste ok. Its better than throwing out the food.

Better you than me. I would not have done it on a bet. Well, actually, if the amount of money were large enough, it could have been a different matter.

Kids don't try this at home. The eggs were marvelously smooth but disappointingly unflavored. The peppermint and Dawn were both unnoticeable. I believe that these eggs had better than normal thermodynamic performance and would have been a perfect omelette with the right stuff put into the middle. Even so I won't start experimenting with Dawn in my eggs. This is the last time.

In other words, wisdom dawned.
