If you're 74, I'm 8. And if I'm 8... where is my happy meal?
Actually I really am 74 which I know is utterly shocking to anyone under 50.

After all, I'm supposed to be wearing Depends and unable to use my cell phone let alone a computer or even remember how to put on my pants.

A lifetime of having to learn new technologies every few years working in computer jobs has kept my brain flexible. Now an active mental regime of retirement volunteering including use of my IT skills keeps my brain flexible and able to learn.

And good genes have kept my body in decent shape albeit not as good shape as I used to enjoy. Now I'm relying on various classes including Tai Chi to help retain and even regain a bit of what I lost due to age.

I was just reminded fathers day is soon and that my dad is a piece of **** whos basically cheating on my mom (not sexually, but with the emotional involvement it won't make a difference to my mom and my dad knows it), and he lets me know for absolutely no reason that is necessary and then repeatedly asks me not to tell my mom. This behavior is the same that lead to their divorce (they eventually remarried), and going through it again made me feel the same way I did as a kid about it, and it wasn't good.

Thanks, but I wouldn't exactly call myself a householder.
One who relays on what is actually not his, is called householder, one who maintains a stand, depending on the senses and it's objects, Brahman(?) Quagmire. One who wears clothes of householders, maintains a outward hold, a kitchen, founds and trades. lives in exchange.

How is/does ? Quagmire now?

How does young householder-daughter feel if laying aside of what is not her (business)?
My dad pretty much threw "none of my business" out the window when he spent most of the time he was visiting me talking about his "queen," and enough time doing this-and-that on his phone that I saw the messages back and forth between "king and queen," and him putting way too many "love yous" in a text to a woman who isn't my mom.
