Trump loses the ability to block subpoena

aged ecumenical anthropologist
No goal post moved at all. This is the same argument I've been using. Which is the law.

I never denied that. And if you are implying that I have you are misrepresenting my argument.

Trump did not commit obstruction. Here is Barr explaining why.

Again you misrepresent me with false allegations. Here I cited the law, and showed how it can be used under certain conditions. Those conditions being it has to be authorized or else it's a felony.

Continue to misrepresent me if you wish. But it only makes you look bad.
The only thing I will conclude this with is that it's no wonder that you support a president that is so utterly dishonest.

Your opinion has no value.

We follow the law.

Nothing dishonest about it.

I was countering your unsupported claim/opinion of : with one of my own. ;)

Enjoy
You could have asked. Meanwhile, the fact is that this sort of investigation is what Congress, and especially the House has responsibility for. And if you thought about it for any length of time it would be obvious why that is the case. Though nominally being a part of the judicial branch the Attorney General is a member of the Executive department, in other words he is an employee of the President. He has a clear conflict of interest if his boss is being investigated. That is why Congress can easily show a "need to know".

Tell me, why do Trumpettes throw all morals out of the window to support the President?

You could have asked.

I just don't care about your opinions.

You are incorrect there. The A.G. serves the American people as do all elected officials and the underlings they hire.

Tell me, why do Trumpettes throw all morals out of the window to support the President

Tell me why you support the Dems in Congress that try bypass law, order the A.G. to commit obstruction, lie, manipulate, and abuse their power for political gain. Because that's all this is about. Because they know they can't beat Trump in 2020, so the only option left is to impeach.;) good luck with that btw.

If you did not care you would not have responded. Strike one. And no, the Attorney General is supposed to serve the American people. In reality he is a member of the executive branch. You are conflating "should have" with what actually happens. Strike two. And the Democrats have never tried to bypass the law. They are not guilty of any of the crimes that you spewed out nor can you support any of those claims. And that would be strike three.

The "I don't care" was in your response to you here:
You could have asked.

I don't care enough about your opinion to ask.

Try harder to keep up eh!

No that's you. You are conflating it as you speak then projecting on it on to me. It's quite unbelievable Haha! See here is what I said which you even quoted. Bless your heart.

The A.G. serves the American people as do all elected officials and the underlings they hire.

You are the one introducing supposed not me.

For you not to have seen one you would have to be blind and ignorant.

Never heard anything about it, until recently after the Mueller report didn't pan put for the Dems. Just another desperate last grasp at straws meh.

Nobody cares because its taxes.

You're wrong.

I pay my taxes. I want those caught cheating on theirs punished. They steal from everybody else all at once.. For every $100,000 of tax evasion, the rest of the community either has to make up the shortfall by paying higher taxes, or do with $100,000 less in government services.

My attitude to such scofflaws : If you want to cheat me, my family, and my community, and get caught, woe unto you.

Yes, I know this is the era of Trump, where truth and morality fly out the window. But some won't ride that train.

You're misrepresenting me. It's not that I don't care.

You said nobody cared.

So stop pretending like it's the horrible travesty when in fact you don't care that deeply about the issue

Many care very much. Some not enough.

You hate Trump, and just use any excuse you can to vent it.

Nobody needs an excuse to express contempt for Trump.

What's your excuse for not expressing contempt for him?

Very similar to my attitude towards shoplifters. They do not lower the profit of the owner. The cost is merely passed on to the consumer since all businesses tend to have similar losses to shoplifting. Just as tax cheats still from all of us, shoplifters steal from all shoppers.

Context, use it.

Many care very much.

Faux care, faux outrage.

What's your excuse for not expressing contempt for him?

Oh I have when he makes a mistake. Take for instance his military trans ban. I voiced my disagreement of him for this. And other stuff as well. But its politics I don't have contempt for him or anyone else. Even AOC who I think is a train wreck of a politician. I don't hate her, I just disagree with her.
