Our PM was nice to her...he told her : "We will help you with Brexit, we will give you all the support you need". Senate, last June 5

Big mistake, Theresa. Huge mistake.

She will finish her term on the 7th June...

Theresa May announces her resignation

... heaven help the UK who comes next. I fear the worse

Her voice actually cracked at the end of the announcement. I heard the press party who were covering the announcement actually laughed - whether out of second-hand embarrassment or because it is truly that pathetic, I don't know.

Regardless I think those are the crocodile tears of a narcissist feeling sorry for herself and she deserves no sympathy. It's not like she'll be living in poverty in any case.

She'll be finalising the book deal; she must have some great stories about Brexit - from the characters on both sides.

Do you think we will find out if the EU was blackmailing her?
What, Theresa whose biggest transgression was running through a field of wheat. What could they blackmail her for - damaging the rapeseed.
Hopefully, she'll dish out the dirt on the like of Rees-Mogg and Johnson. But I doubt it, she's too loyal to Tory Central

She was far from being loyal to her country.

When are the rest of that Remainer cabinet going to resign?

She should go immediately so that we have someone suitable as Prime Minister by the time Donald arrives.

I understand Boris Johnson is the favorite to be the next British PM. He and our POTUS have some things in common. They both were born in New York and both of them are conservative populist and highly loyal to the country each one of them serves. I'm confident Boris Johnson and Donald J. Trump can get along very well together. ...:)

Still blaming everybody but those that got us in this mess.
I can't wait to see the deal our new PM magics up.

The other similarity between Johnson and Trump is that every time their lips move you know they are lying.
I fear that we end up with Boris; but if we do the Tory Party is likely to disintegrate.

IIRC the Tory leadership election process involves the members recommending the candidates (through a voting system) until they have 2 or 3 candidates and then the MPs vote for their leader out of that list. But maybe I've got that completely wrong.

Unlike May, Johnson doesn’t consider a “no deal” Brexit as objectionable. He believes the concerns about a no-deal Brexit bringing devastation to the British economy are overblown. ....:)

"every time their lips move you know they are lying". Doesn't that apply to all politicians? :)

It is worrying, isn't it?
Companies are bailing out of the UK because of Brexit already; if we end up with No Deal, there will be a stampede.

Having said that, part of me wants Johnson to be at the helm when it goes pear-shaped.
