Hypothetical situation.

You're airplane has crash landed in the ocean. Luckily the airline you used is one of the few that provides inflatable life rafts. You begin helping survivors onto the life raft. But it's almost full. You have only 1 spot left and the raft is at capacity. 2 survivors left asking for help.

One is a pregnant lady.

The other is a convicted killer in cuffs struggling to stay afloat.

Make your choice.

I've got questions, but on the face of it, pregnant lady.

Not nonsensical at all. Just over your head.

If you say so.

Its not a complicated situation and you misunderstood it.

But if it makes you feel better to think I am the one in over my head, then you just go right on ahead.

You're always 10 steps behind.

No, I understood it better than you did. That is why you are so resentful.

And of course that post was over your head. You still have not figured it out.

Obviously not or else you wouldn't confuse a pregnant lady being worth 2 lives as taking up more than 1 space on the raft.
Again, I was not confused. I was only following your conditions. Space had nothing to do with it. We can see who is confused here.

Let me explain to you, you made a silly puzzle. You did not define it well and then to make it worse you confirmed a loophole.

First thing I would do is ask them if they want to live.

Not a realistic action though.

With all the chaos going on nobody is going to stand there over 2 people, struggling to stay above water, and ask them if they want to live or not.

Though if I was in the raft and saw a sadistic a-hole asking a pregnant woman struggling to stay a float, if she wants to live or not. I would push him into the ocean and save the pregnant chick and the convict instead.

It's safe to assume they want both want to live because they are fighting.

The OP only mentioned the one in handcuffs as struggling, but whatever.
<Edit to add>
Whoops, the OP says both are asking for help.. My bad.

There is just been a airplane crash into the ocean. Everyone that survived is struggling, it should go without saying.
Well, then I'd ask myself if I want to live, then, and help them both on the life raft, giving my place to the second one I helped on.

My point of you not understanding is proven.

Space absolutely is crucial. It's what has created the problem of only being able to save 1 more person to begin with.

Had you understood this there would be no problem.

Oh I understood where you were going from the beginning. You will still not own up to the error that you made.

Whatever if there was an error you should point it out. If not stop wasting my time with your bluffs.

Away with you shoo!

No, you are much more entertaining this way. And why lie? I don't bluff here. I was never much of a poker player since one must be able to lie convincingly. After all that is what a bluff is at its core.
