...what are your thoughts? Did you actually learn anything from the series? Did it teach you anything about nerd culture or human behavior or did you relate to any character?

The show never hooked me. Reminded me of Seinfeld which I found equally lame.
XII actually. But I was never hooked either. But will admit I watched it last night.Eh, I'd personally say it was deeper than Seinfeld, but still not deep enough to have watched and followed for X seasons, overall.

That show made me develop an EXTREMELY acute sense of second-hand embarrassment, good Lord I can't even watch some of the episodes now because of itEveryone loves Raymond was much better of a show!
I don't know if I would call it a "laugh track" when performed in front of a studio audience. Unless they had a cue for the audience telling then when to laugh. I wonder how retakes worked.I learned that many people still think laugh tracks are needed.
You mean to say it doesn't have a laugh track?I don't know if I would call it a "laugh track" when performed in front of a studio audience. Unless they had a cue for the audience telling then when to laugh. I wonder how retakes worked.

That's odd....the laughing all sounded so perfunctory
& on cue, even for the lamest jokes. It sounded like
Gilligan's Island.
