See poll.
I picked pancakes, but we also referred to them as flapjacks when I was a kid.

The first thing that comes to mind when I hear that latter term is that scene from "Ground Hog Day" when Bill Murray asks the police if it is too early for flapjacks after being the target of a police chase.

I selected "Other". The only proper response to a breakfast question for me is:

A little to the left and slightly out of focus.

Pancakes, but if someone else is cooking, I am quite accepting in terms of breakfast foods.

I remember that scene, too.

There was another favorite movie of mine, Gettysburg, where Major Taylor invites General Lee to breakfast.

"We have flapjacks in small mountains. Fresh butter, bacon, wagons of ham, apple butter, ripe cherries. You really ought to pitch in, sir. Courtesy of our host, the great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania."

I chose pancakes and bacon. Can't have one without the other, even though the poll only let me have bacon....I feel oppressed!

A new one. They must be good to have entered popular culture. I recall a cartoon where the characters were skating on giant pats of butter to butter giant pancakes. Possibly for Paul Bunyan and it may have been a Disney cartoon. I do not recall with clarity.

Shows what you know...OBVIOUSLY not a pancake OR waffle aficionado
I have pancakes only when at engine shows.
They come with bacon, eggs, sausage, & potatoes.
I bring my own maple syrup just for the occasion.
Anything else would be uncivilized.
