The word is used a lot lately here in the U.S. Many of news media, politicians, and a large number of today's youth proudly claim to be socialist. But what is socialism? Some would have you believe it's about taking care of others that need help. Sounds nice doesn't it?

Word meanings can change. Where I live, when somebody says 'sick' they mean ill. But kids around here use the word 'sick' to mean 'very good'. Or others might use the word 'sick' to mean 'wicked'. Oh course, local kids use the word 'wicked' to mean 'impressive'.

So...... enough of your play on the word 'Socialist'. Where I live Socialism is all about a socially responsible community.

So let's take a look at modern "socialist" here in the U.S. and see if they resemble Che Guevara's example.

Here we have "antifa" a violent far left "socialist" group yelling racial slurs and assualting marines. Sure does resemble good old Che fairly well.

Why do they resort to violence and racial slurs when they claim to be non-violent and stand for the civil rights of minorities. Is yelling racial slurs while beating the crap out of someone "helping" if that's the case no thanks I can do without.

Says the guy on the socialism developed internet. Powered by socialist utilities. I'd bet a year's salary he's used other socialist provided services in the last 12 hours, too. Probably less, unless he;'s been asleep. And even then one could argue that police, military and other such socialised services are working for his benefit while he snores away dreaming about the evil strawman socialists.

I'm sorry but communist did none of these things for me.

Utilities are a mix of private and govt run facilities. No socialist or communist here either.
