Is there a war on Christianity in America's Left?

As far as ACLU defending Satanists and Wiccans or whatever, yeah, the defense is too late -- it's still not really safe to declare yourself openly a Satanist. I probably know something about that. =)
I'm all for the ACLU defending the civil liberties of everyone. No one should live in fear of being beat up, having their house burned down, etc.

On the other hand, no one is obligated to like a particular religion or a particular person. There is such a thing as social consequences. For example, it is perfectly legal for people to be anti-Semitic. I have to put up with this kind of animosity, and so do you.

I haven't really ever heard of Satanists' homes being burned down by Christians.

ROFL... my oh my, you guys sure do have to stretch reality in order to justify your silly belief in this War on Christianity. A couple of liberals called the victims' Easter Worshipers' instead of Christians! Oh my lord how HORRIBLE! CLEARLY they were referring to all of the Hindu and Jewish Easter Worshiper victims that were there.

So sad that folks like you think that not getting SPECIAL PRIVILEGES means you're being PERSECUTED against.
Sir, I don't know how you missed it, but I'm Jewish. I'm NOT wanting Christians to have special treatment. I'm wanting them to have the same treatment as everyone else. Right now in the USA it's Muslims that are getting preferential treatment.

Why are you so concerned about Christian persecution?
Are Jews not discriminated against by oppressive regimes? Atheists? Muslims?
Jews are concerned when ANYONE is oppressed. We marched with the Civil rights movement. Feminism was started by Jewish women. When those mosques in New Zealand were shot up, Jews immediately sent aid.

So yes, Jewish response to Sri Lanka is one of concern. And when Christian beliefs in the US are discriminated against, we know it hurts all religions (including us).

It's a matter of seeing the larger picture, rather than being strictly concerned with one's selves.

How are they getting special treatment?

Personally I hear plenty of lefties criticizing members of those religions who are fundamentalists.
No you don't.

In fact, I think it was either Sam Harris or Richard Dawkins who said something negative about Islam and was so raked over the coals for it that he retracted.

You don't know anything about Benghazi.. There was NO US consulate there and Congress had passed a ruling that there was NO money for increased security except in Iraq and Afghanistan.

There would have been money if Crooked Hillary wanted it. Instead, they turned down multiple pleas for additional security. And then they lied about the cause of the disaster to the families of those killed. Obama and Hillary are pathetic.

There was NEVER a consulate in Benghazi.. No diplomatic mission, no consular officers and no Marine Guard. Have you ever been to Libya?

The US embassy is in Tripoli.. Ambassador was in Benghazi overnight for a dedication of emergency services at Benghazi Hoapital.

The media called the mission facility a consulate a number of times. Government didn't.

We are not allowed to hold the position that Islam is having a problem with violence being done in its name -- a very serious problem. I'm not saying you have to be violent to be a Muslim. We have great Muslims here in the US (exceptions noted). But for me to say that Islam has a problem with violence, which should be obvious, gets me and everyone else that hold the position absolutely bashed. Basically the very fact that my country showers Muslims with feel good praise for the tiniest things, and shields Islam from criticism is "Islamic privilege."

Another place where special treatment is given is in the Israel-Palestinian conflict. Sure the government is on Israel's side. But the media and the left and the college campuses etc. etc. are firmly on the flip side. It seems like no one can see wrongs on both sides. The media goes out of its way, i.e. to report all the deaths Israel causes, and makes NO DISTINCTION between the deaths of terrorists and the deaths of civilians. They also treat the attempts of Hamas to invade Israel as if it is a good thing. Another thing is that someone is not a refugee if they are the child of a refugee or have gained citizenship in the new country, yet even the UN refers to "Palestinian Refugees." Meanwhile, Israel is held to a higher standard not only than the Palestinians, but also than those in western democracies. Oh for balanced scrutiny!!

Well maybe you should let Christ Jesus know that
All because Christ Jesus doesn't say that in his book of Revelation
As Muslims will have control over the temple mount until Christ Jesus returns

As for Matthew 24:15---"When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand"

The holy place being the temple mount, Which the Muslims have control over, until Christ Jesus returns

Have you any idea who it is that will stand in the holy place, it's the AntiChrist that when he comes will stand in the holy place proclaiming to be the Muslims Messiah

The Holy Place is in the temple. Jesus was referring back to Daniel 9:27 -

"He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed”.

So there you have the Holy Temple being prophesied.

How bizarre was Trump's framing of the attack, where he didn't mention "Easter" or "Christians" at all?

Obama:

Trump:
It appears the only reason we're not hearing what a great "Christian" Trump is for having the "courage" to insert the word "Easter" in his tweet is because the tweets were not reversed. It just seems to me this whole "controversy" is contrived. It's fake news at its ugliest.
Trump didn't replace Christians with a euphemism. What he did was not unusual. What Clinton and Obama did was WEIRD.

Come on you guys. No one wants to say that Muslim extremists killed hundred of Christians on their holiest day of the year. Two democrats went so for as to use euphemisms for Christians, which is far worse than not to mention them at all.

Bible thumpers don't get to ride on the coat tails of educated people.

Don't confuse intelligence with Godly wisdom. Slick Willie Clinton was smart, but because he didn't have Godly wisdom he was impeached.

Godly wisdom will get someone to heaven. Intelligence by itself won't.

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?" - 1 Corinthians chapter 1

Right.. Titus and Vespasian defiled the Temple with the Abomination of Desolation. (just as Antiochus IV Epiphanes had done during the Maccabean Revolt) Jesus told the new Christians to flee to the mountains to avoid the tribulation.. and they did. They went to Pella.

The end of the Jewish world as they knew it was the destruction of the Temple and Jesus says it was never rebuilt.

I am all American. It is America that I am loyal to. However, I have a special link to Israel in that it is my homeland.

None of that deprives me of my moral objectivity. Wrongs are being done on both sides.

Were you a Scout?

Judaic/Christian community? LOLOL
Before the sexual revolution of the sixties, the culture of the US used to be Judeo-Christian. It died a slow death. Very little of it left now. Are you so young that you don't remember?

Yes there are wrongs on both sides and the Palestinians pay the price for that.
