Is there a war on Christianity in America's Left?

Read this article, and find that in a discussion of the horrendous attacks on Christian Churches in Sri Lanka, Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama cannot bring themselves to use the word "Christian." Instead they use the sanitized euphemism "Easter worshippers." Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton tip anti-Christian ‘Easter worshippers’ hats

Why? Has being a Christian become too much of an embarrassment for Democrats these days? And is this just a part of the larger picture of the Left disenfranchising Christianity? It often appears these days that you can be Buddhist, Hindu, Atheist, Wiccan, and even a Satanist (and ESPECIALLY a Muslim) and the ACLU will protect your rights. But if you are a Christian, aren't you seen as the purveyor of prejudice?

I used to think it was we Jews who had it bad. I remember when I lived in North Hollywood, CA and two Jewish men were shot going into morning prayers at their shul -- not a single newspaper or TV media outlet covered the event. And that was typical back then for our neighborhood. Jews were seen as part of the "rich white oppressor" by the Left.

Now the hatred is spreading, and Christianity is the most persecuted religion in the world, first by Islam, and second by the Left. And I'm sorry to say, but the bigotry extends even to my own country.
Santized euphemism? Are there people who are not aware that those who celebrate Easter in a church are Christians? Trump didn't bother specifically using the word either.

Sorry, but I think this is one of the most overhyped nothing burgers I've seen in a long time. Hillary and Obama expressed their condolences, as did Trump. But people overlook that, and are upset because they didn't use the specific verbiage that some prefer? Come on.

And a Muslim Scouts of America, and a Black Scouts of America...... Come on now, get with the times. You either grow as an organization to be more inclusive and representative of the population for which you serve (community), or you don't and eventually get left by the way-side. "Selling out" as you call it, is a wise business decision, by an organization that has always been about being: Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.

The BSA was not historically a pro Sodom and Gomorrah love fest happening. Nor should it ever be.

You want inclusion? How about the left start letting conservative speakers and professors into their universities without wetting themselves and throwing a hissy fit?

How about they allow Bible-based conservative Christians to head up their pro-gay and pro-abortion organizations to set them on a better path? That's a thought!

More like they are wolves in sheep's clothing.

Obama was the "Most Biblically Hostile President in American History". Numerous examples in the link below.

America’s Most Biblically-Hostile U. S. President | John Ankerberg Show

The problem in the US is that some religious people think its all or nothing and they love to play the persecuted victim. Obama had more ethics and morals than most of the foot washing, pentecostal, fundamentalists. They reject science and attack educated people.

The whole idea of a war on Christianity in Ameristan is really odd.
Christians dominate both parties, including Democrats. A war on
themselves? Nah. It's a war between Christians...new agie ones
vs old school fire & brimstone types.
I'm glad to be a conscientious objector disbeliever in that war.

The sort of Christians who play this game are uneducated so they claim persecution to make themselves feel better.

I think a lot of these guys are just jealous
of the old timers who found it so easy to
get martyred.

It is all in the book about that advantages of
martyrdom, predictions about getting
persecuted, but where to find it?
Preach in N. Korea?
Wherefore art thou, oh my persecutors!

The War on Christianity is terrif! it
fills t he prophecies, and lets them be
victims of persecution, on the cheap!

Bible thumpers don't get to ride on the coat tails of educated people.

Nuts.

Love speaks the truth. Those who lead ungodly lifestyles deserve that truth, whether they like it or not. Some will repent (Luke 13:3) and turn to God. Others will be lost.
Sounds like your worldview is incompatible with the principles of Scouting. A Scout is friendly - he's "a friend to everyone, even people who are very different from [him]."

A Scout is also reverent, which in the BSA's formulation includes respecting the beliefs of others.

I think it's some odd way to avoid outright saying that it was Christians who were killed. Hillary Clinton called last weekend "a holy weekend for many faiths". Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only holy day that was happening last weekend was Western Easter, and Easter is only a Christian holiday; nobody else celebrates it. If non-religious people go to church on Easter, it's only because of family ties or observance of a cultural tradition. Clinton's framing of the attack was bizarre and seemed to obfuscate the fact that it was more than 200 Christians who were killed.
Passover was also last weekend.

Depends on what is meant by conservative viewpoints. Gay is a sin, and creationism are not aspects of any school system, nor should they be.

I wouldn't know about Pentecostals, but Obama and Crooked Hillary ran a thoroughly corrupt administration, from the IRS targeting of conservatives to having the blood of the Benghzai victims on their hands to lying about Obamacare, etc., etc.

I suspect there will one day either be an all-out Muslim / Israeli war that Israel will win to where Israel will then build their prophesied Third Temple on the Temple Mount. Or there will be a political settlement / solution where that will happen. Either way, the Third Jewish Temple will be rebuilt on the Temple Mount, fulfilling prophecy (note Matthew 24:15).

God bless!

Well maybe you should let Christ Jesus know that
All because Christ Jesus doesn't say that in his book of Revelation
As Muslims will have control over the temple mount until Christ Jesus returns

As for Matthew 24:15---"When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand"

The holy place being the temple mount, Which the Muslims have control over, until Christ Jesus returns

Have you any idea who it is that will stand in the holy place, it's the AntiChrist that when he comes will stand in the holy place proclaiming to be the Muslims Messiah

Titus and Vaspesian both defiled the Temple. That's the abomination of desolation and that's why the Temple was destroyed. In Revelation there is NO Temple because Jesus is the Temple. Are you reading from some other Bible?

You don't know anything about Benghazi.. There was NO US consulate there and Congress had passed a ruling that there was NO money for increased security except in Iraq and Afghanistan.
