Not so much offended, but disgusted, and why are you implying that it's unusual that anyone who is offended by religion, atheism, sexism, Trump, Biden (or either political party) be here?If you are offended by religion, atheism, sexism, Trump, Biden (or either political party), why are you here?

I'm not offended as long as the other person is not aggressive toward me.

I assume you have a working knowledge of English grammar and will understand that when you posit an "if" conditional statement followed by a question, the question is predicated on the subject of the conditional. That is, your question "why are you here" is predicated on the condition that the reader is offended by X, Y, and Z. In addition, I assume you'd be less likely to ask idle questions about what you feel are usual subjects as you would about unusual subjects. Therefore your question would indicate that the subject of the conditional "if" is unusual. Hence, my question:I'm didn't imply anything. I'm asking opinions. The difference stands out as light does to darkness. Only a blind person can't see it.
Maybe it's exactly because a person is offended by them that they're here. Or, maybe it's because they simply like to debate and are looking for a good opponent? Or, maybe it's because they're looking to straighten out a few misguided folk.To be more clear.
This forum talks about god, and against god.
This forum supports Trump, and is against Trump.
This forum supports religion, and is against religion.
This forum is open for everything and against everything.
So in short why are you here?
Religion, politics, gods,,,, for or against any or all ? Don't care, don't matter?

Yes I can be confrontational at times. Sometimes that's what it takes to get a debate going. Preaching to the choir isn't what I'm here for. And you may call my approach at times, "nasty," but if you carefully notice, my approach is always on a tit for tat basis. Want to debate in a pleasant, genteel, manner, I'll readily oblige. Want to get down and dirty, I'll readily oblige. I'll blow with the wind. However, I'll will admit to getting frustrated by those who purposely ignore a point I've gone to the trouble to make, and might take them to task for it. I feel that if they can ignore my points I can ignore any pleasantries they may feel they're due.Um well you can be nasty and confrontive at times.
Personally, I think rephrasing it to read.I'm sorry. I didn't expect some one to focus on the word "if" more the the topic. Let me rephrase....
Are you offended by religion, atheism, sexism, Trump, Biden (or either political party), then why are you here?

I don't understand why members who are offended by religion, atheism, sexism, Trump, Biden (or either political party), are you here. Please share your reasons.
might be better.

FWIW, I do not understand debate. I'm from an environment that if I disagreed, there was hell to pay. So, I like to keep my discussions civil and nice.
We all can be nasty. That's kinda the point. We all have our opinions that don't agree many times. So we need to ask ourselves why are we here. Is it to question, to learn, to understand other sides, to argue, to ridicule, to mock, to recruit, to laugh, to feel sorry, to make fun of others, boredom, to gain,,,, what?
Why are any if us here?
