yes there are some out there that are counterfeits but not everyone falls in that circle!so we should not label or judge everyone because of a few.

Perhaps you’re unfamiliar with the Christian position? All other means to what God blesses us with are counterfeits.

The ntelligent forces that grant these abilities, hate the Name of God.... they usually don't want to hear the name Jehovah -- Psalms 83:18.

Their destruction by Him is approaching, and they know it.

I didn’t realize any of it was bad until I was freed from all of it.

I had a friend who had "a guide" who was quite beautiful. When he started to consider Jesus, the next time he went to "the beautiful guide" it transformed into something hideous which said "you will never get rid of me!".

but Jesus delivered him.

Yes... that is man's definition. But notice that it delineates two positions... "supernatural" - that which is beyond or above nature; and then that which is also supernatural but above it "divine".

"All divine is supernatural but not all supernatural is divine" is a completed definition.

If rosary beads or prayer focuses the mind, I see no harm in it.. and I suppose you could say the same thing about Tarot Cards, but there is no evidence for demons.

Perhaps its about "intentions".. A higher power would certainly know about intentions.

I'm glad he is fine! sorry that happened to him. but as I say all the time one mans treasure is another mans garbage!! don't relate one person experience by another!! We all have our own paths and God speaks and relates to us on a individual basis.obviously that wasn't for him to be doing because he wasn't called to do it by the Creator,so he brought forth the wrong kind of spirit, that's not my situation!!

can I ask way you why you feel only demons exist in the spiritual realm? cause that's all you are talking about!! you are among those people who would contact the evil side of divination because you don't believe anything good could be of it. I however know for a fact that blessings from God come out of the spiritual realm when I use my cards. are you forgetting that Angels operate from the spiritual realm? Did you for get about them?

One of the new age practices is through Divination, my definition of Divination is accessing Divine knowledge and/or Guidance,to increase your personal power and living a peaceful, happier,more fulfilled life,through using interpretive tools;like Tarot cards, the pendulum,numerology,astrology,Ouija board and meditation to name a few.Seems to me that it would be considered a positive thing,how can you say seeking the Divine is not a positive thing it's evil. I read tarot cards for myself and other people,I've tried to explain on several occasions that the cards aren't evil they are just objects, the person reading the cards would have to be the force that is evil and using for evil purposes.I have never so far had negative readings,the information has always helped or enlightened the person I'm reading for. The other tool I use on a regular basis is the pendulum,and once again it helped clear up and answered the person's questions.I've never had a problem!! and I always pray and ask for protection doing the readings from anything negative coming through! because yes there are negative spirits as well as positive,but as I said I have never had a problem or bad experience!! I am going to continue seeking the divine in the manner I am lead to, just like anyone else.
Hopefully there is someone who knows the answer to my question.

God has warnings in the scriptures against occult practices because these are illegitimate and dangerous ways to attempt access to divine knowledge and wisdom. Illegitimate because God wants people to come to directly, personally to Him to seek spiritual wisdom and dangerous because when one tries to access the spiritual realm in through other means they are then open to deception by powerful, malevolent evil spiritual beings.
