I think we should do less of it but ultimately some unrest is caused by underlying human rights violations which need to be addressed. So I think that some of that unrest is inevitable and social media is only facilitating what needs to happen to find a greater peace in which huiman rights abuses can't be swept under the rug so easily. This guy makes some pretty good points. Should we get away from social media(or at least do less of it), or are we too far in now? Thoughts?
I avoid social media. I do have a Facebook page, but only check it when prompted by family to view their posts, pictures, etc. I'm just not a sharing guy when it comes to my personal/private life, and have no interest in that of other's.
I feel like I become addicted to social media, since I knew that that's good
I see people walking on street and chating, dangerous thing,is driving and chating,I though it's hurt personal life too with family,or wife,it's cause many cases of divorces, cause of cheating or addiction"careless"
I am trying to avoid it time to time.

There's a small irony in asking us to watch a video from one of the most infamous social media sites in existence.
In any case, I learned some important lessons about so-called "social" media many years ago. There were some personal things that happened, and I also saw the writing on the wall with respect to what these platforms were really doing. They do not exist to provide a public service, they exist to collect information on you and sell it to the highest bidder. They are not there to help you connect with your friends, they are there to invasively spy in your private life and profit off it in any way that they can.
Scary huh. Now imagine what will happen if government decides to use this information for nefarious reasons.
Also, I do not understand why many people will air very personal issues and grievances for all the world to see.
Another thing; thieves love social media. Just last night on my local news channel a local band was out of state to shoot a music video. Thieves saw this on their facebook page and used the opportunity to rob their home of their custom instruments and other belongings.
