Odd how the news keep spreading further away. Both Brexit radicalism and movements for the People's Vote and even plain cancellation of Brexit seem to be gaining traction, at the expense of any appearance of negotiation or efforts at mutual understanding.

I wonder if the Irish Troubles felt more divisive than this current situation in England.

Occam's Razor. This is a populace concerned about losing touch with its government and losing its representation. The government has lost the confidence that people had in it. Some think joining the EU might help. Half think they should disentangle. Government funded BBC consistently oppose to the referendum and government refused to comply with the referendum, confirming the fears. MP's got away with skimming from public funds. MP's voted for increasing government surveillance of individuals, collusion with the EU and USA to spy on people in their homes. MP's got elected to support things that they never supported. Children got raped while government ignored it. Some citizens lost jobs and got kicked out on the street while migrants got free housing. The hospitals started to have huge waiting lines. Generally public confidence in the government has been lost, and things will only get worse if it keeps stalling.

Losing faith in the government or even in politicians generally is one thing. But the spread of radicalization of political views can't be a good thing. At the very least it hints against better mutual understanding and acceptance in the near future.

The BBC tried to do a hit job on Gerard Batten this morning.

They have been ignoring Gerard and UKIP but have now realised that that tactic is not working.

I would like to see the Conservative and Labour parties wiped out.

I am no fan of the Liberals either but at least they were honest with the electorate at the last General Election.

I live across the ocean, but I do recognize that the BBC and government keep trying to send a message that everything is fine and to stop complaining and just accept what they tell you. It was so loud we heard it over here on our government media PBS and on about half of our media -- only half since we have two sides which must always disagree. Fox must never agree with CNN etc., so we always get diametrically opposed news commentary.

Of course people are going to want a change when they realize nobody is looking out for them. Of course they are afraid and don't trust the reassurances that are being poured out through government funded media. Promises were broken and continue to be broken, and the govco needs to stop doing that. The UK government is large and complex but still small enough that the govco can be called on the carpet -- but just barely. The EU makes it harder to hold the government to its promises. Believe me who live in the USA when the govco gets that large it stops listening, particularly when modern technology allows it to statistically understand and control voting. You want to leave the EU and shrink your government down to where it has to listen to you.

The comments are passionate and plentiful considering it has only been on YouTube for three hours.

If what is happening now does not cause the government to start listening, nothing will.

Promises, promises!

Heath, Major and Phoney Blaire were the great deceivers.

We were deceived again with the current Referendum con trick.

The old USSR and the current EU, what is the difference?

The old USSR funded the Leave campaign and is rubbing their hands in glee that we are leaving.

The EU stayed out of the campaign, funded neither side but will be sad to see us leave.
