Why are Messiah claimants usually male?

Looking through this list List of messiah claimants - Wikipedia one can't really help but notice it's predominantly male, if not all male.

Are males more susceptible to delusions of grandeur? If that's the reason, then how come? it seems to me that most psychiatric disorders would happen to both genders.

Is it perhaps that women are more predestined to sanity, or humility?

Conjectures, anyone?

I dunno. Did Romans crucify women?

Maybe, for all their shortcomings and faults, women
are not quite as loony as men

Because women are simply unworthy. Their only purpose on the planet is to serve as vessels for man's seed so as to produce more men. If god could have figured out how to use men to reproduce males he would have done so. But . . . . . . . . It isn't as if god is all knowing and powerful or something.

It's been a male dominated society for the most part. The assumption that God and his authority on earth would be male.

Maybe with the idea of equality, that will change. Women will have the freedom to be as looney as the men folks.

It would not hurt if you guys would kind of hint
at whether you mean it or not.
I take those comments as sarcasm or satire. Still, I wouldn't say it. Obviously I don't believe in anyone being God, but if it were somehow true, I think a woman might make a far better ruler.

And spoil all the fun? No way.

The thing is, assuming god is all knowing and powerful, as many Christians claim, he could have created mankind as autogamous creatures: those who self-fertilize like the angleworm, or as hermaphrodites, creatures who have fully functioning "male" and "female" reproductive parts so as to mate with each other. In any case, the result would be a single sexual form of mankind.
As for god's reason for creating women, to "make a help meet for Adam," the same could have been accomplished by simply cloning Adam, or making another hermaphrodite. Woman certainly wasn't necessary. All of which points up the innate worth of man and the less-than-worthiness of woman, other than their function as sexual objects of course. ;)

Men rule.
Women nag.
To start a religion capable of crushing both adherents & the opposition, guess which works best.

This'll get me doinked for a violation, eh.

A couple of things: First, there is Testosterone. I think it is a very strong drug and should be a Controlled Substance perhaps? Second, though I hate it, there is Genesis 3:16
To the woman he said,

“I will make your pains in childbearing very severe;
with painful labor you will give birth to children.A)" data-cr="#cen-NIV-72A" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 0.625em; line-height: 22px; position: relative; vertical-align: top; top: 0px;">
Your desire will be for your husband,
and he will rule over you.

I don't like it. I hate it, but it is there. Not my fault, I didn't write it.

Considering how many (majority of) men do see
things that way, if a person does not even specify
that they are attempting a joke, I will assume they
mean it, and make no allowance for any nuance of
slight over / under statement.

If a person is not up to the challenge and consequences of
saying something equivalent about our friends of African
lineage, they might (might) consider the sorry excuse for
courage it takes to "joke" about women that way.

Whether women might make better rulers, who
knows, Considering the record, it might be well
to let someone else try for a bit.

You think that is fun?

Did I say so? In my own opinion, I think it is terribly unfair and if it was offered as punishment to Eve, I think it was extreme.

Though it would be nice to have someone around that just did the Creator's will and acted like a benevolent adult, not an adolescent, spoiled fool.

I'm having fun. :D

.

Same quality, same mentality as "men" who have
their fun, seeing what reaction they can get by
flashing their equipment at the girls.

Whatever reply you wish to make at this point,
I wont see it.

All I can say is that I'm definitely not the Messiah. I'm not the Messiah!
