Annoying preachers

I very rarely encounter a preacher who is genuinely obnoxious, but apparently in my country if you annoyingly preach on the train commute, you will make the news.
Now there are some unspoken rules that are universally followed on public transport, at least round these parts. Especially on the commute after work. Do not speak loudly, do not annoy people and do not act like a knob.
But one US based preacher decided to break all three of these sacred rules.
Phill Barr of Torch of Christ ministries tried preaching to a bunch of random Sydneyites who were more than happy to give him some old fashioned Australian bluntness.
(Side note, I would very much like to buy the gentleman trying to read his book a beer.)

So do you have any stories of annoyances?
Doesn’t have to be religious.

And what are some tactics you’ve seen from people that just made your jaw drop?
For me I think it was “Mr Athiest” who had Mormon missionaries send in a child to try to guilt trip him.
Like wtf?

I'm retired and like to fill in time trying to photograph birds (and other wildlife at times) which requires a large lens. All I want to do is walk or sit around quietly waiting for an opportunity to take a photo but it's almost guaranteed that I will be annoyed by people. The most common question I get is... "are you taking photos?". No, I'm lugging about 2kg of camera/lens for the hell of it -.-

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
I think most of the annoyances for me come from the radio. Primarily from making pitches for money after bragging how great their ministry is and just how awful life would be without them.

Lol sounds like when I worked retail.
“Excuse me, do you work here?”
No, I just like to randomly wear the uniform and my name badge to confuse people.
