Bicyclists Beware!

Recumbent trikes with 20" wheels sometimes appear around here. They have a rod with small red flag on top so that drivers can see them more easily.

There are many ordinary adult trikes around here, and electric power has made these much more handy. The only problem with adult trikes is that they have a tipping point which is usually only discovered by tipping over on a bend, and this is why I would not recommend them to anybody.
They're good for people with some disabilities.
But they have the advantage of being even nerdier than 2-wheeled recumbents.

That's bulldust, Revolting.
Innovation is what produces discovery.
We have long flat coastal roadways here that run for many miles and they are perfect for low profile recumbent machines. Very high speeds can be reached with them, and they can be fitted with low weight bodies to improve airflow even further.
I think that these projects are very interesting, although I would not get one for myself.

Scared that kids would point, & yell "Nerd! Old man nerd!".
Nope.......
I would not have anywhere under cover to keep it.

BTW your thread title shows the word bicyclist ...... the first time I have ever seen that. Cyclist and biker are the most common terms here.

Whenever I hear the word "biker," I think of guys like this:

It doesn't matter how much I go out.......... nobody, nobody uses that word around here........ we're cyclists.
Bicyclists! ........ what happened to you lot?
Do you have tricyclists as well?

Ha ha! :)
I think of the outsize biker lady who lives near here..... altogether a different kind of picture, and there wouldn't be much room left in the shower, either. :)
