Not funny! You are right. I am asking about a person's ****ing personality.

NOT his physical or his material well being.

I wouldn't lie to get a date and I'm in Maine so most dates are far, far away. And, why do I even want one?

I got one guy who says he'll be moving some things through my town so he will meet me at Dunkin Donuts and so I shower and dress and then I get another message that he hasn't the time and so I say (later after he says we'll go out sometime), "you stood me up!" and he says, No, it must have been someone else! Haha. Maybe the seventy dollars wasn't a total waste of seventy dollars. AND, I saw my ex there. LOL But, he was too cheap to actually join so he didn't read my canny message. A message was what got me in in the first place. This is in case you don't know. You can join for free to see all those um all them who are not looking for YOU actually but to delve deeper and read notes that might be sent, you have to join. God made me curious. I am curious so I joined to read a note and I suppose, it wasn't a mistake because I shall always and forever think it is funny that I saw my ex there and so forth and so on.

Is there anything more depressing?
I have never actually done it. Though some joker--a friend, but no one confessed and I have no real suspects--signed me up for Match.com without my knowledge. All of a sudden, the inbox of my Outlook was filling up with a selection of ladies that I might be interested in. There were actually some very nice sounding women in a reasonable age range, but I was not in a condition to date at the time. I did not know the password to the account to do anything with it, so eventually, I just blocked it from my email. I suppose it could have been worse. I am sure someone got a big laugh out of the whole thing. No real harm done.

If it is a legitimate service like Match, it does not look like it would be terrible.

It was probably more depressing over 150 years ago, when you had to wait for the kid on the horse to bring you letters from perspective dates. If you were lucky, their portrait was recently painted and real. If they had one. Then it was join the wagon train so you could meet up. That could take months. Then you find out he or she was not a wealthy Easterner looking to start a ranch in Colorado or California, but just some snake oil merchant or saloon girl. Then the dismal trip back to the homestead with all that time in the wagon to hope and think next years date would pan out. Yeah. Technology has made it much easier.

There's always medication.
I have some stuff a dude gave me at a party. Never used it. Not sure what it is or what it is supposed to do. Dr. Dude was not very specific. Wait. That was not me. That was a story somebody told.

See what I mean. That personality of mine does not know what it is talking about half the time. The other half, I am not sure about either.

I hate to admit it, but I have one too.
It flares up at times.
