There is two ways to practice

Spirit of Light

Be who ever you want
Have you ever thought about how you practice in the religion/spiritual path you are on?

In my experience there is two ways to be a practitioner.
Theoretical practice and practical practice of the teaching.

You can be very good in the theory, knowing every word of the teaching, but lack the practical pracice.
You can be very good in practical practicing the teaching even not knowing a lot of the theory.

But to gain the wisdom from within then the teaching/dhamma , one are best suited if one combine the two pracices :) But without the practical practice wisdom does not arise easy.

I agree. In your view, Why should a person want to know or practice dhamma?

Dhamma can be translated to Truth, so what we practice is the path toward truth. and when we do realise it, then we see the truth behind everything (spiritual) in the world, So this is why i say Dhamma is within everything.
I can look out of the window where i sit and see dhamma or i can walk in the forest and i see dhamma.
When we study the texts it is a user manual to discover the truth within everything. When we practice according to the user manual e realise the wisdom from within, because even we read it is not enough to realise truth, one must first understand the user manual then set it out in motion, then the user manual come alive within us and we can see

When you say 'Truth', what do you mean? What is truth?

Truth according to cultivation paths/Religions
In Buddhism it is the truth about cause of suffering and the teaching tell us how to end the suffering in our life. (attachments to the cause of suffering has been let go of)

Many religions clame to have the truth, and i would not say they are wrong, why?
Because the founder of each religion saw the truth on a very high level of wisdom (spiritual) But even they looked at the same ultimate truth, they would see it from different angle and this is why so many clame to see the truth.

You can see it as a mountain where the very top is the ultimate truth, then each religion(cultivation path take different route to the "goal"
