Abortions, Man's Law & God's Law

BSM1

What? Me worry?
Robbing a building that could potentially become a bank is not the same thing as robbing a bank. But some people just refuse to recognize this.

After reading this multiple times I think I know what you're saying.

In speaking about abortions

According to man's laws, If a person kills another person, then that person will either pay the price by his life in the death penalty.
Or in some cases, they'll go to prison for the rest of their life for taking the life of another.

But yet in Abortions this contradicts the laws of man's.
That on one hand if you kill someone, then you face the death penalty or prison

But in Abortions, you can kill without any consequences. This is a contradiction of man's laws

For some unknown reason, people thinks God is for abortions. The reason for this, people cherry pick verses out of the Bible and then try to imply them to abortions.

Not realizing that God's law "Thou Shalt Not Kill" stands in the way of Abortions.

What does it mean "Thou Shalt Not Kill?

This means do not take an innocent life. Such as babies in Abortions or kill someone without a cause. Did that person kill in self defense in the fear of their life being taken.

Now to kill in self defense, that's permissable by God. As your allowed by God to defend yourself or Country when attack.

But to take an innocent life in abortions, God does not and will not stand by it.

As I would like to know how this is going to work and fit in God's
ten commandments law
The 6th commandment plainly says
"Thou Shalt Not Kill"

Then how is God for abortions, but yet be found saying "Thou Shalt Not Kill"
In taking innocent life.

So how is this to work and how does
"Thou Shalt Not Kill" fit into Abortions?

That no matter how a person
trys to cut it,
It still stands with God
"Thou Shalt Not Kill"
This is wrong on so many levels.

Abortion is not necessarily murder according to man's law and hasn't been for the vast majority of time.

Abortion is not murder according to the bible, talmud, torah, or quran.

You are distorting scripture to justify your personal position. And people wonder how people ever used the bible to justify slavery or war.

If you want to hace the ability to legislate against abortion, then add an ammendment to the constitution.

So you say, those cells are human life,
if not then that means, that you are not human yourself.
Get real those cells within a woman are human life.
If not then that means, there is no humans beings.
You really got to kidding.

It seems your alot gullible to believe in such nonsense.
That would mean, at the time your mother was carrying you in her belly you were not human ,then that means you still are not human

To be human first you a start in your mother's belly, then when your born, your still a human

No matter how anyone trys to cut it.
Either way your still human with life.

What about the woman? She has a life too - will her needs be considered?
Can the child be guaranteed a welfare state with free medical care, schooling, etc. ?
What about single mothers? Will the fathers be chased to pay their way?
What about fetus that are malformed, can they be aborted?

I don't care what an ancient book says, I care what the medical profession recommends

Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt. -- Genesis 38:24

I would definitely like for you to show exactly where in the Constitution where it's written about abortions.

As you have no understanding or knowledge of what the Bible does say and confirms.
So show in the bible that God supports abortions.
Like you to explain exactly how abortions fits into God 6th commandment
"Thou Shalt Not Kill"

So how is that to work.

  • "Jewish law is quite clear in its statement that an embryo is not reckoned a viable living thing (in Hebrew, bar kayama) until thirty days after its birth. One is not allowed to observe the Laws of Mourning for an expelled fetus. As a matter of fact, these Laws are not applicable for a child who does not survive until his thirtieth day."
Since the fetus is not considered a person under Jewish law, it would be impossible to consider its abortion a murder. Indeed, most Jewish scholars have agreed that abortion was legal under Jewish law.

Yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb. -- Hosea 9:16

Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up. -- Hosea 13:16

Its amazing how people take something, not knowing what it's referring to or why certain things were done.

Had you back up and find out what the subject and article is about.

Hosea 9:14-17

14 Give them, O Lord: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts"

(As you can see, there's no abortions, only the women having a miscarriage of not being able to get pregnant.)

15 All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters.

( Now why is God upset for their wickedness? )

16 Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.

( As you see, God caused the womb of the women to be dried up, that the women can not get pregnant. Nothing about abortions here either)
Like alot of women to day, that can't get pregnant, so they adopt a child, But still that is not abortion)

17 My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations"

God cast them away, because they would not obey God, So God caused the womb of the women to dried up, But still nothing about abortions)

Hosea 13:14-16.

the first mistake your making here is
It's not God doing all this.
Notice in verse 14 below

14 I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.

Have you any idea at all who death is and what is death's name is.?

The people of Ephraim chosen a king over them that caused the people to do wickedness. And not Good.

15 Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the Lordshall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels"

Now do you understand what is happening here.
What does it mean by, His spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up, So what does this all mean?

16 Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up"

So what did Samaria do, shall become desolate? What happened ?

That Samaria will fall by the sword,
Have you any idea or clue, what that sword is to represent in the bible?

For what cause their infants to be dashed in pieces.
Well for one the king they chosen lead them into a battle that they were unprepared for. That caused their women with child were ripped up..

As it is, had you read the whole chapter and found out what the subject and article is about first then you would have found out that God gave them forewarning what was to happen to Samaria and Ephraim for choosing a another king over them, that this king that they chosen would lead them into a battle they were unprepared for, that this other king and his army will destroy them. Ripped their women with child up.

It seems your having a hard time staying with the program.
Had you back up to verse 14 you would found God caused the womb of the women not to be able to get pregnant..

This is what verse 16 is referring to.
When God said, I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb, as verse 14 has stated, God caused the womb of the women not to get pregnant. Dried up being unable to get pregnant.

It's totally amazing how people go into the bible that have no understanding or knowledge about what the bible Confirm's.

Have you any idea who the Assyrian represents in the bible?

Now as for Hosea 13:14-16 and
Hosea 914-16.
Upon reading these, how do they fit with the 6th Commandment law of God's
"Thou Shalt Not Kill"

So how does Hosea 9:14-16 and
Hosea 13-14-16 fit into "Thou Shalt Not Kill
Have any idea or clue.

If you study the Bible it is rather clear that "Thou shalt not kill" does not apply to fetuses. There is more than one verse or passage that indicates that abortion was not murder in the Bible.

It is totally amazing to watch you twist what the Bible clearly states into something it does not state. Verse 16 is talking about 'destroying the fruit of the womb'. These would be women already pregnant. If they could not have gotten pregnant, there would be no fruit to destroy.

with regard to man’s laws, it is a question of legality, not morality.
I would hasten to add that as far as anyone can demonstrate, so-called “god’s laws” are actually man’s laws as well.

According to man's laws, If a person kills another person, then that person will either pay the price by his life in the death penalty.
Or in some cases, they'll go to prison for the rest of their life for taking the life of another.
Man's laws vary widely, and are constantly changing. They are "enforced suggestions," crafted to deal with a particular situation in a particular place at a particular time.
Man's law allows the killing of men, women and children in many different situations.
But yet in Abortions this contradicts the laws of man's.
That on one hand if you kill someone, then you face the death penalty or prison
Wouldn't the executioner in a capital case be guilty of the same crime the criminal was being executed for, then?
What do man's laws have to do with right and wrong; with morality? They're just social tools, to deal with some immediate social problem.
But in Abortions, you can kill without any consequences. This is a contradiction of man's laws
No, not at present, in the US. Next year it may be. Who knows? Man's laws are mercurial.
For some unknown reason, people thinks God is for abortions. The reason for this, people cherry pick verses out of the Bible and then try to imply them to abortions.
Who said God was "for" abortions? I think most people here are simply saying He does not oppose them.
Not realizing that God's law "Thou Shalt Not Kill" stands in the way of Abortions.

What does it mean "Thou Shalt Not Kill?
As you well know by now, it's a mistranslation. It amounts to a prohibition on violating man's current homicide laws in your region.
This means do not take an innocent life. Such as babies in Abortions or kill someone without a cause. Did that person kill in self defense in the fear of their life being taken.
I see no added clauses in "Thou shalt not kill." As written and translated, it prohibits killing even a carrot. Everything else is human interpretation.
From the mighty Wiki:
"The Hebrew verb רצח (r-ṣ-ḥ, also transliterated retzach, ratzákh, ratsakh etc.) is the word in the original text that is translated as "murder" , but it has a wider range of meanings, generally describing destructive activity, including meanings "to break, to dash to pieces" as well as "to slay, kill, murder"."

Wouldn't "not taking an innocent life" include bombing a city or killing a chicken?

Now to kill in self defense, that's permissable by God. As your allowed by God to defend yourself or Country when attack.
No. This is a self-serving rationalization. You are to love your enemies, turn the other cheek and return good for evil. And Jesus did not believe in countries or nationalism: "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. -- Galations. 3:28.
But to take an innocent life in abortions, God does not and will not stand by it.
Not biblical -- Personal theology.
The 6th commandment plainly says
"Thou Shalt Not Kill"
But it doesn't, does it?

You're basing your whole argument on a known mistranslation.

So you say, those cells are not human life,
Of course they are human, but they are not people. It's people who have a claim to moral consideration, not human foetuses.
It seems your alot gullible to believe in such nonsense.

Human sperm and ova, human foetus, human child. Only the latter is a person.
It's not our humanness that commands moral consideratuon, but our personhood.
Ho really, so that means that you were not human.
I think you have been reading to many fantasies stories.

People like yourself will believe anything.
So gullible

Is it any wonder why the world is so messed up
People will believe anything
ROFL! -- It's not we who have been reading fantasy stories. It seems to me it's you who've swallowed the unsupported folklore about turning water into wine, walking on water, raising the dead, casting demons into pigs, &c.
Some people will believe anything.

Yeah, they do... Jews were forbidden to mourn a miscarriage or stillborn.. They were forbidden to mourn a baby that lived less than 30 days .

That makes sense to me.. The infant mortality rate in Arabia in the 1940s was unbelievable and it was probably no better in ancient Palestine.
