Abortions, Man's Law & God's Law

In speaking about abortions

According to man's laws, If a person kills another person, then that person will either pay the price by his life in the death penalty.
Or in some cases, they'll go to prison for the rest of their life for taking the life of another.

But yet in Abortions this contradicts the laws of man's.
That on one hand if you kill someone, then you face the death penalty or prison

But in Abortions, you can kill without any consequences. This is a contradiction of man's laws

For some unknown reason, people thinks God is for abortions. The reason for this, people cherry pick verses out of the Bible and then try to imply them to abortions.

Not realizing that God's law "Thou Shalt Not Kill" stands in the way of Abortions.

What does it mean "Thou Shalt Not Kill?

This means do not take an innocent life. Such as babies in Abortions or kill someone without a cause. Did that person kill in self defense in the fear of their life being taken.

Now to kill in self defense, that's permissable by God. As your allowed by God to defend yourself or Country when attack.

But to take an innocent life in abortions, God does not and will not stand by it.

As I would like to know how this is going to work and fit in God's
ten commandments law
The 6th commandment plainly says
"Thou Shalt Not Kill"

Then how is God for abortions, but yet be found saying "Thou Shalt Not Kill"
In taking innocent life.

So how is this to work and how does
"Thou Shalt Not Kill" fit into Abortions?

That no matter how a person
trys to cut it,
It still stands with God
"Thou Shalt Not Kill"

A bunch of duplicating cells is not a person. You would probably not be able to tell a difference from the bunch of duplicating cells of an amoeba.

Therefore, it is not clear what your point is.

So you say, those cells are not human life,
if not then that means, that you are not human yourself.
Get real those cells within a woman are human life.
If not then that means, there is no humans beings.
You really got to kidding.

It seems your alot gullible to believe in such nonsense.
That would mean, at the time your mother was carrying you in her belly you were not human ,then that means you still are not human

To be human first you a start in your mother's belly, then when your born, your still a human

No matter how anyone trys to cut it.
Either way your still human with life.

Well, i identify a person with a fully formed brain. A bunch of cell can be human, but it is not a person. It is just a bunch of chemicals that will eventually become a person. Not the same thing.

Ho really, so that means that you were not human.
I think you have been reading to many fantasies stories.

People like yourself will believe anything.
So gullible

People will believe anything

You seem to have comprehension issues. I never said those embryous were not humans, i said they are not persons.

You seem to confuse the two things.

Is that a defense? From someone who believe in imaginary things like Jesus and gods? And that blastocysts are real persons? Really?

Well, welcome in the 21st century.

That verse is more accurately translated as "you shall not murder". Yahweh certainly ordered the Jews to commit genocide many times in the myths so obviously this war god doesn't have a problem with killing. He ordered children to be put to death, as well. There is not one verse in the Bible prohibiting abortion. Murder is also a legal concept. It's just homicide that's defined as illegal. Cops and soldiers can kill lawfully. You can also kill in self-defense if need be. Abortion isn't defined as murder under the law, despite the efforts of religious fanatics trying to control women's bodies.

Since not everyone believes in the Christian God, and those that do can't seem to agree on exactly what God's will is, any authority assumed by those claiming to speak or act on God's behalf is pretty moot. Just another opinion.

We don't have laws. Laws are. Rules we have, to hopefully keep us from damaging ourselves too badly when we try to break laws.

I see, so laws are those things can't be broken. Like the law of gravity. A law acts on you whether you like it or not.

What we like to call laws, in the legal sense are really just rules. I suppose we should be calling it God's rules.

If abortion contradicted mans law do you really think they would be legal? The contradiction here is in yourself. Please study the law on murder and the laws (different in different jurisdictions) that define when a fetus becomes human.

And if you want to bring god into the equation, god is the biggest abortionist there is. Just about every miscarriage can be attributed to gods will. And during the claimed flood he murdered every fetus being gestated.

The flaw in you argument is that there is no law against killing, there are laws against murder. Abortions are legal, therefore abortions are not murder. You can't invoke non-existent laws simply because your sensibilities have been offended.

BTW, the translation of the particular commandment you cited reads "Thou shalt not commit murder..." There was a hell of a lot of 'God sanctioned' killing in the Old Testament.

What about the woman? She has a life too - will her needs be considered?
Can the child be guaranteed a welfare state with free medical care, schooling, etc. ?
What about single mothers? Will the fathers be chased to pay their way?
What about fetus that are malformed, can they be aborted?

I don't care what an ancient book says, I care what the medical profession recommends

Yes and no. There are God laws, but obeying them is like obeying gravity. People make rules to help. Don't jump into the volcano is a very helpful rule. What happens if you do, is pretty much a law.
My feeling is that the laws of God are pretty much covered in the lord's prayer.
