any other catholics here ?

are there any catholic here av just returned to the faith and wish to talk to others who are catholic
Hey there Lily! Welcome back home!

I'm not active on this website anymore, but I decided to come back just for old time's sake to see if the Catholic community was active on this website or not. When looking at the Catholic DIR it appears that, except for Mark Dohle, there is no one else that is posting topics here.

If you are looking for an active Catholic community to communicate with, or just Christians in general, I would suggest migrating over to Christian Forums. It's a very active website and the people there are very friendly, for the most part. :)

Welcome back, and I just returned back as well this last summer after being gone for about 25 years.

Not as active as I used to be. Life took over. Hopefully I can be more active some day.

IMO, we tend to get more out of church the more we put into it, and within almost all parishes there's a lot that can be done. For example, maybe contact the Christian Service department in your local parish to see if there's something you can help with. There are other programs going on as well, without a doubt.

There are also Catholic spin-off agencies that can use volunteers, such as St. Vincent de Paul and soup kitchens. There are ecumenical agencies where you'll also find Catholics giving them some of their personal time.

Let me recommend that you "invest yourself", and I think you'll find that Church becomes so much more meaningful.

Just a friendly suggestion, my friend.
