Jesus was Narrow Minded

A Vestigial Mote

Well-Known Member
"[God's] voice came out of the cloud, saying: “This is my Son, the one who has been chosen. Listen to him.” -Luke 9:35

Why would anyone dispute God or the authority he gave Christ to teach and lead? :)
That the text says this does not prove that it happened. Luke can write down whatever he wants... I can write down whatever I want. We can all write down whatever we want... doesn't make it "true." You would need sufficient demonstration of the truth of these claims... otherwise I find no good reason to believe them.

but to be any one of the items on your list....
is it not required to draw lines?

and having drawn the line....held firm by sword

following would be a narrow path
True, Jesus did say " Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it." Matthew 7:13

Yet, clearly since all wisdom, truth, power, light, life and love dwell in Jesus He Himself is not narrow, simply caring and exclusive enough to desire us to reach the true SOURCE among the multitude of confusion and lies.

and what then?... of the many....
who fail to discern the line of thought drawn

Well, the scriptures say Jesus draws all people to Himself and His light is revealed to all in the world, so whether it is a failure to discern or a refusal is more likely the question.

ah.....the point of decision

hear the parables.....decide what they mean
THEN
decide to follow or not

of course....having made a choice
the line drawn
your path narrows quite a bit
