If you woke up one day with the power of telekinesis what would you do with it?I would use it to try and heal people.:)

You can't try to heal people by other means? Would telekinesis somehow give you knowledge of medicine?

Telekinesis is the ability to move objects with the mind (as far as i know) I do not think it is possible to heal sickness with use of telekinesis. Then one need healing abilities

No It wouldn't give me knowledge of medicine.Do you have any ideas about how telekinesis could heal people?:)

Not really beyond what can already be done without it, aside from being less invasive.

No. Telekinesis is the ability to move objects but not knowledge.

Personally I don't want any such powers. The odds of me using them wisely is close to zero because I don't have insight into cause and effect (karma) and could easily mess things up.

100% agree with you on this :)

I'd probably do all sorts of things, and keep coming up with more as time went on, I'm sure.

What if you could practice until you were able to lift yourself off the ground, move yourself through the air and "fly?" I'd give it a try, at least.

As one poster mentioned, roulette would be amazing. You could purposefully lose a number spins, spending a high amount on each, and then hit on an exact number. They'd never be able to catch on to you if your win/loss ratio wasn't wildly out of the realm of reality. Make sure to go to a few other casinos and do nothing but lose. Then hit big at a handful.

It also depends on how strong one could develop the ability to be, and how precisely one could target things.

I'm guess if I had telekinesis God would have given it to me for a reason-to complete some kind of mission perhaps- thus likely to only last until whatever reason God ends. That also means there would be a big responsibility to go with it. I wouldn't want that kind of responsibility...So I would pray to God and see if He could tell me what reason He gave it to me so I can do what He wants me to...After that if I still have the ability I would not use it.

Physics sort of predict telekinesis, in the sense, that they assume that the observer has an impact on their experiments, as we go smaller and smaller. This topic is more about macro-scale telekinesis; quite amplified, to where it is not considered a factor in experiments.

One good use would be during the sports playoff seasons. If you need another beverage or snack, you can stay in your chair and not miss a play. Telekinesis can act like a butler or maid for things around the house.

It can come in handy during amorous encounters with your better half. It could be like having extra telekinetic appendages for more diverse multitasking.

I have a similar skill, but it is not telekinesis. I own dogs and if I am sitting and thinking, while watching TV, if my thought triggers certain strong feelings, all the dogs start to bark and patrol the house. They sense a hoodoo in the house. This is part of ancient nonverbal language that is transmitted by emotional bluetooth. Dogs appear to be more sensitive to this than the cats.
