Jesus was Narrow Minded

let's see the knee jerk reactions

The Light of the world, the Savior, the Alpha and Omega, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Prince of Peace, the Word, the Way, the Truth, the Resurrection and the Life, Jesus Christ- victorious, powerful, loving and wise... but narrow-mined, I don't think so.

Yes, and the Jews used this very text to "prove" that
Jesus was not the Messiah. It is not recorded that
Jesus ever attempted to set the record straight.
Those who "hearts burned within us" soon enough
would have learned the truth about Jesus' birth.

Seeing how the bible speaks of two Jews that are in Israel,
So as to which Jews are you in reference to?

Alot of people are stump when ask this question, Of not knowing that the bible speaks of two Jews in Israel, So which Jews is which in Israel.

Jesus confronted these Jews many times, Even in the book of Revelation, Jesus speaks about these Jews who claim to be of Israel and are not, But are of the synagogue of Satan's.

Those Jews who claimed to be of Israel and are not, are those Jews, who had Jesus crucified on the cross.

So the question is, Which Jews are you in reference to?

No seeing the post you refer to, how do we know your statement is correct? No knee jerk reaction just common sense. What is the post and how do you substantiate your claim?

I will ask you a question: What is narrow minded about healing the sick, feeding the hungry, curing the lame, making the blind to see and the deaf to hear and teaching all mankind to love God and others? Do you think you misread or have a different idea to the definitive meaning of what being ' narrow minded', means?

Not sure of what you mean by "two Jews"
unless you mean Jews of two different persuasions concerning Jesus.
Some Jews saw him as fulfilling the Messianic prophecy of Redeemer
and other saw him as not fulfilling the Messianic king.

Do you have any evidence of these assessments?
Do you serious think that, at that time, anyone had any idea of cultural relativism or anthropology?
The only values and mythological precepts in general circulation at that time and place were largely local.

Jesus didn't approve of modern thinking about religion.
He told the Lebanese woman he came for the Jewish people, not dogs.
He didn't just rail against adultery, he went further and said that if you
even LOOK at a woman in lust you are committing adultery.
He didn't approve of divorce.
All that this religious nation did for God wasn't enough
He told someone not to attend a funeral but let the dead bury their dead.
He said the Romans would lay siege to Jerusalem and kill even their children
He said his nation was condemned to slavery, death, exile or hell.
He said he would throw a woman into a bed of adultery, and kill her children
He refused to answer many questions
He said he was better than anyone else, either living then or in the Old Testament

I could go on and on and on.
would ....judgmental ......be a better choice of words?

He created everything in the Universe.

I'm sure He has some idea.

Jesus said he judged no-one, but his judgement is true.
Guess he meant he didn't tell anyone if they were going
to live or die spiritually, but he judged what was right and
wrong. The latter is the judgement we all need to make.

Does it see it?
Or does it sees you?
Which is it then?
If your not one,
and than it must be the other,
Whom are you?
A Brother!
Or your enemy..!

it's more to what the next guy thinks

I believe.....we end up alongside others that think and feel as we do

How else to be happy?
How else to be fair?

So now you become the thief in one for the All, Whom says he is heaven, is a conieving thief preying on its victims.
well.....I chose the avatar...
as a Thief ....I steal the topic and run away with it

but there quotes of scripture that kick being a Thief
one way and then the other

wide is the way to destruction
narrow is the gate and few find it
like highway to hell and stairway to heaven. the orthodox picture an easy open path to hell and a road full of turns for heaven.

Besides a personal spiritual witness, the same scriptures you would use to try and prove that He was narrow-minded.
OK, I'll accept personal experience as a rationale for personal belief, but not as empirical evidence intended for anyone else, and the scriptures indicating narrow-mindedness are also not authoritative -- for some of the same reasons.
