Size does not indicate potential of capacity. Look at what can be produced from splitting an atom.

Sorry must go, will get back to all this tonight.

What? You (thats YOU) are the one who injected "A few cave paintings" in the hope that it would win you some extra god god points. When you were shot down you back pedal. Typical.

I find it's the ' practice ' of homosexuality that is a choice, meaning in Scripture the practice of fornication is wrong.

Not the consensus of modern psychology, medicine, etc., but I'm fine with the your right to your belief. This has been argued repeatedly with very few people ever changing. My former fundamentalist dentist is one of few I know who switched. His gay son enabled that.

Again, Tony. Homosexuality isn't a choice. Declaring someone a covenant breaker isn't saying you stand against them? Shunning them isn't? Apparently you know very few Baha'i.

Thus back to topic, if God is the source of creation. Then will not science also eventually find the wisdom in all that is from God?

A good example is alcohol. In the last two faiths from God, this has been prohibited.

Thus a wisdom can be found in abstaining from intoxicating drinks. Look at what the current science is about alcohol, some say there is no safe level.

It may take time for some, as some go the full circle into addiction before a wisdom unfolds, but others take the wisdom in Faith.

You should go back and quote who put cave paintings into the discussion.

It was not I :)

This is a good example of the 'What if' of this OP.

Science will be able to find the wisdom behind the given law, if God is the source we all have been created to know and love.

It is also being found too liberal an attitude to this subject, is not allowing children to develop their own understanding of these matters, they are being pushed into what thay may not have actually chosen.

From a faith perspective, humanity was warned this would happen as more and more people move away from what is of God.

I thought the topic was if the knowledge of God was the ultimate aim. Are you changing it?

But to answer the two questions here ... Some people say God is the source of creation. (Some say he creates, others say he extends.) and some say god has nothing to do with it. There is no consensus. We also can't say much about what science may or may not discover. We've been surprised so far by some things, like flying machines, and we've been disappointed by other things, like still no cure for cancer. So to suggest than science will find wisdom from God is at best. wishful thinking, and at worst, delusional.

Are you saying my dentist friend pushed his kid into being gay? If so, that's extremely absurd. If anything, kids of homophobes get pushed into homophobia. Sad that. Do you relaise the suicide rate in for teen gays is much much higher than for hetero gays.

I will leave it to science and only have offered what I have read on this subject. Would you like a few links?

So are we all in this life, really just looking for what is God?
Thus back to topic, if God is the source of creation. Then will not science also eventually find the wisdom in all that is from God?

I would see it offered as a compatiable question, different wording, yes.

I have considered that If we look for and find the source, then it is logical that many other questions can also be answered.

Cave paintings are not at issue. Quantity is. You brought up quantity, when the facts hit you you back peddled. And now you try sloping shoulders by changing the subject

Just hold your hands up and say, "its i fair cop", honesty is always the best policy

I see I only made general comments. I can not control what you want to do with them, once they have been offered!

But you are free to use them as you wish, that is also in line with the OP, as this is also all about out choices in life

You made comment on quantity that was incorrect. I corrected them .You attempted to change subject and blame me. It says all i need to know about ultimate aims

The point I was trying to stress is the ' practice of fornication '.
In Scripture the practice of fornication is what is the sin.
Straight or not, fornication is Not to be practiced by anyone.

I looked it up, as I wasn't sure the precise definition, and it said 'sex outside of marriage'. So you're okay with it if they're married? Or not, because gay marriage is forbidden as well, according to you?

I find the Bible does say 'God is the source of creation' as per Revelation 4:11.
Science or research has already discovered fish and some animals being affected today.
For example: too much estrogen in the fish's water caused male fish to have female brains.
So, at this point, how has 'modern science' contributed to what is happening with human brains, etc.

Yes, in Scripture, biblical marriage is only between male and female 'according to Jesus' at Matthew 19:4-6; Gen.2:24
Since we are so close to the coming ' time of separating ' on Earth as described at Matthew 25:31-33,37,40 then we need to decide what is most important to each of us.
