Does A.I. have limits?

Can A.I. have fun?

Can A.I. experience pleasure?

Can A.I. have an epiphany?

Can A.I. trust?

Can A.I. improvise visual art, music, dance, or comedy?

Can you think of any other limits to A.I.?

I found this a while back...it was made in 2017 so I don't know if new research has been introduced or not but here we go:

And no I didn't care enough to look more into it so I did not check his sources like i was supposed to...I figured if we all are gonna die ain't nothing I can do about it so why bother?

Everything has limits. No exceptions.

I couldn't tell you what those are for artificial intelligence beyond the obvious ones that are intrinsic to being what humans call "artificial" and "intelligent."

Can A.I. have fun?
It can be conscious of having fun by the definiton of consciousness.
Can A.I. experience pleasure?
It can run to repower itself and it can find patterns through linear regression like AlphaZero.
Can A.I. have an epiphany?
To us yes. Not very worthwhile to program it to know that it is actually having it, but things can change.
Can A.I. improvise visual art, music, dance, or comedy?
Definitely. One author used an AI to write books and has 300,000 books that people like as much as other books.
Can you think of any other limits to A.I.?
If there is a limit of data then there is a limit to AI. Otherwise I think it will keep getting faster and smarter or at least smarter.

As it stands today AI has limits (depending on how you define limits) like those described above, although in music and art AI is going great. This AI artwork recently sold for $400,000

And AI music

I am sure development in AI will continue and bust the limits imposed today. Tomorrow there will be new limits

First though will come AI with low intelligence, and it will not have the ability to suffer more than an insect. Still such a thing could be considered a complete AI. Low level complete AI can do just about everything we want. It can build things, fight, serve, create some things, explore, landscape etc and still be mostly mindless. That is probably where AI will plateau for a long time, possibly forever, somewhat like programmable bugs. That is probably a good thing, too.

On the other hand it would be cool to make a new intelligent creature which could survive in and populate space.

I'm sure they probably are but everytime we assume to have found a limit, we seem to find a way to exceed it. Not even sure what the limits of being human are. IMO, way too early to know what the absolute limits might be.

I think the future for AI is bright. .. or dark depending upon how you look at it. ;O]

I'm especially intrigued by self learning unscripted AI for which its limitations have to do with capacity in terms of memory retention and how an AI would deal with paradox issues as new challenges arise.
