What will he look like? Will I recognize other as self? will i, will you, recognize I AM that i am? will you, will i, put on a helmet for salvation and love for a breastplate? will i reflect in the windows, eyes of otherness, like narcissus? could i inwardly appear like him???

and when i was young, i would war against myself as other, against my own ways. did you? i'd dance under the strobing lites, to dance away the sorrow and suffering. and i'd see you in the mirrors like lightning flashing east to west.

i doubt i look anything thing like jesus outwardly. could you mirror the thief's mind and being the king of the house be bereft of treasure until finding that pearl?

Would you find myself; when you found the power to love, the power of god? would the light dawn and would you be crowned as royalty in the kingdom of love?

a tree grows in the fertile soil of belief. its branches reach to heaven as if imploring. the wind sings through its being. will it dance forever in the face of sorrowing and suffering........................?

for the joy and sorrow we know as friends?

We're burning down the highway skyline
On the back of a hurricane that started turning
When you were young
When you were young - killer

דניאל יוסף בן מאיר הירש
Moments last forever
Ripples on an infinite pond

Reflections on the surface
Diminish but are never gone

Bass beats, smooth feet
Silken beauty before the dawn

Tired eyes, sunrise
Memory, graceful song

Jesus? Yes you will know you are you. It is necessary so you know by which of your deeds your next life is decided upon.

Nothing my eye, Something for sure
unconditional love doesn't focus on deserve vs merciful. its just all action from love

There are many kinds of love. Not all love is the same. How can i love someone who murdered my friend? It dont happen the same way.

Deserving love is unconditional. Mercy is to extend will to someone for that person to repent. Even the will to punish someone extends mercy.

And if there ever were such a thing as Satan, the best you can do is no love at all for that.

many kinds of love are conditional based on their condition. unconditional love covers all of them. that kind of love is not a respecter of conditions, attributes.

If you PHYSICALLY looked like Jesus you would appear as a
small Jewish man who was not attractive. If you showed Jesus
in your life you would confront most people. For those who
likewise love Jesus they would appreciate your example but
NOT worship you (that is not allowed - look at examples of
this in the NT)

Because in Christian doctrine Jesus is the Son of God.
It says that "every tongue shall confess and every knee
shall bow" to him.

Interestingly, there are two Messiahs in the Old Testament -
the Redeemer who would suffer rejection and the reigning
King (he who the Jews look for.)

The bible states that to be accepted of the King we must
be Redeemed by him.
Christians hold that Jesus will return to be their King. This
is seen as lame by many Jews - someone will return from
the dead to finish what he failed to do when he was here.

But...

In Zechariah it states the Jews will mourn when the reigning
King appears - this is he "whom they pierced" and this is
the one who came lowly and "riding upon a donkey."

John 8:58
Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

To be Christ-like means to hope in the true God. IMO.

WOH. That ... is heavy.

Matt 25:45 NIV “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

basically what ever you do unto anyone, or didn't do, you did to me

The first question one should ask is: Who exactly was Jesus? Was he even perfect? Was he a little arrogant? Did he have a bit of an anger problem? Did he think he was above the law up until he got smacked silly at the end of his life? What would Jesus stand for today? Would he stand by his Christians?

He claimed that he would walk the earth as a normal human being, and everyone would treat him exactly as they would the lesser man. So if he came with an unpopular belief about religion, would anyone listen to him or consider him crazy? If he came again, would everyone expect him to be perfect? If he came again, would everyone expect him to be extremely blessed or would he be cursed?

More than trying to figure out who the messiah could be, should one be trying to look into the scriptures to better define what to look for in the messiah?
