U.S. culture

Surely that alone isn't U.S. culture to you?

Of course not, let's include corruption, power hungry, control freaks, know it all's, people who think they're smarter than God, lust driven, people who put others down to make themselves look better than others, and of course one of the Babylons with the other being Russia.

Sure, there are some kind people here in America. There are some who are generous, but above all, America is run by greed. America believe they have some God-given right to control the world. Now they're mad, because China plays their game better than them. Everyone judges China's government for being high key than our government about being oppressive. However, our government does all the same stuff. At least the Chinese have a more valid reason for their Muslim camps than we had with our Japanese camps during WWII, what we we did to the Native Americans, or let's not forget what we did to Africans long ago. We have a history of oppression of the weaker man.

Without question corporate greed, racism, oppression have been and are part of the U.S. culture. A picture is worth a thousand words, post one. Though, I would argue that there is much more to U.S. culture than that.

And Trump demanded that NATO countries pay their fair share which would reduce reliance on U.S. resources and blood which was a good thing in my opinion.
Obama demanded the same thing, but he did it in a civil and effective way. The agreements made by NATO nations to increase spending were made under Obama, not Trump.

Not really the way it works unfortunately.

France and Germany having stronger militaries doesn't really save America anything much. US strategy is capability based, not based on threat or balance of power so it doesn't mean they will reduce defence spending. It does reduce US leverage over Europe in certain things though as they gain greater ability to operate independent of America. This is the reason the US previously wanted Europe to be dependent on them, it was basically a deal to ensure US power on the global stage.

But this is a bit off topic, so I'll leave it there.

Sorry to be the one to tell you this. But he is Canadian.
Everyone knows that.
He's still part of our culture.
We take all of your best....Shatner, Leslie Nielsen, Ben Cartwright, Lorne Greene,
Mike Meyers, Monty Hall, etc....& we make them our own.
But we leave the mediocre ones there, eg, Red Greene, Wayne & Shuster.

Note: The several actors playing the Gorn were Ameristanian.

The United States is, first and foremost, multicultural. There is no unified culture.
