on changing words... the best we are going to achieve here is to agree to disagree...but they did omit entire sections....didn't change them...just removed them completely

I believe that is news t me. Can you show evidence of a before and after?

Most of this thread is on what was written by Matthew's writing ??
I've read most of the thread, took a while, but: I feel Matthew dictated most of that from his own memory. He, Matt., was getting kinda old then, about in the late sixties, I guess. Most people died in their sixties. It was about a jewish lad, read the old testament, started preaching the `Book` as he saw it: "love thine neihbor", love your "_OD" ,love yourself.

Missed around in politics, thought he was the "son of `_OD`", preached some about: pay your taxes, and honor the great owners, not the slaves, and you will survive this life and return to your heavenly peace with `_OD`.

`OD`, the son of `Ra`, The `_OD` that was Moses', `_OD`, and then Genisis.

He, Jesus, messed with the old Jews, preached to the kingsmen, and was hung by His arms and feet, nailed Him fast to the log, maybe the 'cross', you really knows.
And this is what a dying old man recited to Paul(Saul), and Paul(Saul) wrote a new vision.
About thirty or so years after Jesus' death,
making up, as he went, tale to tale, and was the new Book
The New Testament in service to Jesus the son of `_OD` the son of ..............
~
I left some parts out, I know, but you get the message, don't you ?
~
Just filling space, I forgot the OD or whatever it's called !

I don't believe any of the writers would have to depend on memory since having the Holy Spirit meant that their memory would be refreshed.

I believe the least of Jesus brothers are all members of the 144,000. They don't lie and they are all for the will of God to do. Then, most of them are dead.

So, how does a person love a dead person?

They left a real legacy. Honor it!

Why did I put that in the ignore thread? It is because it is a question.
I don't really care that I am ignored. It doesn't matter to me.

savagewind,
I am not sure what you mean. A little more information would be helpful, in order to answer.
Thank you so much! This thread is for questions to either be ignored or are ignored. The thread started because I was being ignored and I was being facetious, but now if I want to post just to post, I use this thread. If I use the last poster thread to post nonsense, then someone else will bump me. I am climbing the Notable Members list. It is not so that I might be considered notable. It's just something to do. I am retired. And, I thank God for that!

When God speaks of people in the Scriptures, He is not speaking about individuals, but groups, as the 144,000 are called, Anointed, Sealed, Holy ones, in some Bibles, Saints. They are also The Lambs Bride. They are to be Kings and Priests, in heaven with Jesus, Revelation 20: 4-6, 5:8-10. Paul mentioned them and brought out the fact that he was one of them, 1Corinthians 4:7,8, also mentioned at Revelation 14:1-5. 2Corinthians 1:20,21, 11:2,31, John 3:28,29. According to the Holy Scriptures, some of these ones are alive today, and some will still be alive, when Jesus returns to earth, Revelation 2:26,27, 19:6-9, 1Corinthians 11:25,26, Matthew 24:40,41, 1Thessalonians 4:13-17.
All these Scriptures pertain to the ones who are spoken of as being IN Christ. There are others, but these should help you to realize that the Heavenly class of people are different from the ones who will live on earth, as subjects of Jesus and these Under Priests, who will help the people who live through the Great Tribulation and the resurrected ones, to make this world a Paradise, just as God Purposed from the first, Genesis 1:26-28, Psalms 37:29, Isaiah 45:18, 55:11, Psalms 115:16. Agape!!!
