I was actually just at Disneyland a week ago.

Yeah, it was crowded and we had to wait long lines, but I was a kid again. I've might have enjoyed it more than my kids.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
So many good memories, and this Disney song is the one that tops them all for me..

When I was a kid I couldn't stop singing it. That was when the magic of Disney was the magic of Disney, and not some canned and sterile profit-making conglomerate that it is now.

Another one is Chitty Chitty Bang Bang....

God I miss those days.

I remember going to the theater with my family when the film first came out. It was quite amazing seeing it on the big screen.
I think I read the book in class. But I mostly saw it on TV. Seemed to be on rotation with Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music so often that I didn't realise I never actually bought the VHS or DVD of any of them. Which surprised me considering how often I saw those movies as a kid.

Actually you are right since your post compelled me to do a little research.

It wasn't a Disney film contrary to what I thought. I guess I'll have to scratch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as a Disney film. Chalk it up to the Mandela effect! Turns out though I wasn't the only one who Associated Disney with Chitty Chitty Bang Bang so I feel a little bit better because of my folly. *Grin*.

I always had thought it was Disney because it had Dick Van Dyke in it. I now feel like the time when I discovered Santa Claus wasn't real.

Lo and behold truth turned out to be Stranger Than Fiction , given that Dick Van Dyke was consequently censured from Disney cuz he starred in the film.

Well ill be. :O)
