Rudy Giuliani Says Trump’s Team Should Be Able to ‘Correct’ Mueller Report Before It’s Released

WWMRD?
It's no different than when Bill Clinton's lawyer David Kendall wanted to review and make rebuttals to the Starr report before it went to congress, it makes sense.

Nothing to see here - quick, look over there.

There is nothing wrong about either, it just makes sense that a persons defender would want to review it no matter who it is or the content. That is what they get paid to do, it is their job.
Do you not agree?

Review it before it is published certainly, but no alter it in any way.
If they want to issue a reasoned rebuttal so be it.
But censorship of an official report is morally and legally wrong.

I am pretty confident that Guliani knows what is legal and illegal.

Giuliani was a prosecutor and he knows the tricks used by Prosecutors. For example, Manafort did his crimes in conjunction with the Podesta Group, which was a lobby group that lobbied for foreign nationals in Washington. His crimes occurred under Obama, about two years before Russia invaded Ukraine under Obama. That timing is worth investigating. Did Mueller dig into this or did he avoid it? This tells us something.

The owner of the lobby group was the brother of John Podesta who had been the chief of staff under President Clinton. If only Manafort is charged with these crimes, the report would be disingenuous, since it appears to protect Democrat related interests, Both needed to be investigated, all the way back to the Presidents, they were connected to. If this is not the case then selective justice is being done. This could be legal, but it shows bias.

The hacking of the DNC server, that ended up on Wikileaks, began with John Podesta's e-mail account. There are too many coincidences in terms of how the same people, around Manafort, are connected to other key happenings. Was John Podesta blackmailed because of his brother's involvement with Ukraine? Or was Obama behind this, since it was well known in Washington that the Clintons and Obamas were not on the same page. Clinton was old school southern democrat and was condescending to Obama.

The Obama FBI knew about Manafort years before he worked for Trump. Why go after him years after the fact, when the Obama DOJ let him slide right after the crime? Hopefully, Mueller's report will address these questions. If not, the AG gets to edit the report and only release what is not biased.

My guess is Mueller will do a Comey style report where he gives everyone something, which then adds up to nothing being done to anyone. This is how you work politics and avoid making enemies of one side, less that gain power and you be singled out.

Comey was more afraid of Democrat treachery. The Republicans are not as cruel, so he slanted the Hillary stuff off center, to account for left wing treachery. Trump is a will card but he has been very patient. Mueller may also slant left knowing who the jackals are. Writing the report is taking some time. This is an attempt to balance political reality. He may leave open a few doors, to balance this even more, so the Republicans can pursue, if they so decide.

I have my doubts that you know the laws well enough to make such comparisons. How about we just focus on what is happening now.

Whoever said Trump doesn't have a sense of humor?
I still smile every time I see a picture of "Pocahontas".
His real problem is being easily triggered by criticism.

You really seem to hate the "Left", more so than just the common animosity for the other side.
