What was your first ever internet forum username*?

Mine was FireWillow. I know, go figure, huh?

*Doesn't necessarily have to be RF unless RF was the first internet forum you joined.

My first internet forum screen name was my legal name. The location I entered was my hometown.

I was pretty naive.
I am pretty sure I would have entered my SS # and mother's maiden name if the site owner had put a red asterisk next to the question, indicating a "required field".

That was a long time ago.

Least that is the first I remember using.

That wasn't after the 1976 mystery horror movie of the same name, was it?

That was the first horror movie I ever remember watching.

Of course, this was Yahoo Chat/Message Boards in the late 90's.
Wasn't inspired by the movie though.
More than likely inspired by some fantasy novel.

Oh. I don't know. I use the same password as when I first used a desktop just with variations. Edit. Wait. I think it was artisticpoetress.

I met my first girlfriend and now life long friend online in a dating site. That was when I rarely heard how dangerous it was to go out on internet dates. Couple of them.

Huh.

I haven't ever changed my user name. It is now what it always has been. I've had others....but 'dianaiad' was my first and the one I have stuck with.

I know, I know...not a whole lot of imagination there.

Mine was "Neina" and the forum was Beliefnet back when it had a lot of people using it and many different forums for different religions circa 1999.

My first email address was fizgiggi@..... (I wanted fizgig but it was already taken) and my first chatroom name (back when you had to hit 'refresh' to see new chat messages) was DaMage5. Shuddup, I was in grade 8!

I cannot remember. It was on Usenet. There were some interesting posters there. I remember some guy named Nadds or something like that. What a hoot.

I won't say cuz it had my real initials.

I don't understand why that is a problem. I used to post on forums giving my real name, address and telephone number. What are you afraid of? Some people on the forum didn't believe me, so one of them sent a post card and I had to describe it to prove I had received it. Some other people called me and we had some nice discussions on the phone. What harm do you expect?
